Renovated in 2024, the Dream Start Hotel is a great choice for accommodation in Ningbo. With Xikou Railway Station just 9km away and Ningbo Lishe International Airport only 28km away, transportation is very convenient. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Yutai Salt Store, Wuling Gate and Xikou Town all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. 民宿在鄞江鎮，內部環境還挺好，老闆也很熱情，軟硬件都可以，能感受到老闆在用心經營，唯一不方便就是停車在馬路對面農行後面，假期車多很多，這邊馬路上車不怎麼讓人，帶娃過馬路不方便，而且停車場停車雖然能找到車位但也不是很方便，如果你是油車，一定注意別停充電樁附近那幾個車位，會有人放輪胎氣，不僅僅是充電樁正對應的車位，充電樁附近區域的那幾個車位也不行，我第一天晚上吃完飯沒停車位，就停在充電樁附近的一個停車位那裡，以為一個不是充電樁正對的停車位誰都可以停，結果第二天3個輪胎被放氣，第二天早上才看到充電樁上用黑色記號筆寫的不能停車否則被放氣，關鍵前一天晚上天黑也很難注意到手寫的這些字，最後找附近修車店花錢流動補點氣，避免碾壓輪胎，然後開車到修車店補氣。
吃飯方面，鎮上大點的飯店好多都是小龍蝦，對於愛吃小龍蝦的可以，對於不愛吃小龍蝦或者想帶小點娃吃點清淡的就費勁，鎮上找了半天實在沒找到合適的，中午抱娃走路天熱餓的不行就湊合吃點沙縣小吃啥的，後面我們幾天晚上一直是開車幾公裡外在豐和鄞江藝術餐廳那裡吃，清淡江浙菜，口味還可以！

TTridib MisraAfter reserving, I received a courtesy call from the hotel, and we then connected on WeChat since I don’t speak Chinese. The hotel introduced me to Long, the housekeeper, who coordinated our entire stay with great care and attention. Before our arrival, they asked if we had any special requests. As my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, I asked them to decorate the room with flowers—and they did a beautiful job.
They also asked about our dinner and breakfast preferences and were impressively organized in their preparations. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, but our taxi had trouble locating the hotel. I called Long, and he immediately came out to meet us—a huge help! When we checked in, they welcomed us with refreshments and even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. The room had a bathtub, which our three-year-old son especially loved.
To our delight, they had thoughtfully prepared a child’s hygiene kit for him, including kid-friendly soap, shampoo, and a dental kit. We also received a handwritten note, a fresh fruit bowl, and a lovely bouquet of flowers. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and very tastefully decorated.
There’s a small indoor play area for children, including a slide, tent, and games—our son played there every day. We also enjoyed strolling around the grounds and spending time at the scenic swimming pool, which is nestled in the mountains. The food was another highlight: we had a delicious Chinese dinner and a traditional Chinese breakfast, both full of flavor.
Throughout our stay, Long was incredibly helpful and made our trip truly special. Thank you, Long!
I highly recommend Lost Villa. They have other locations as well, and we’re definitely looking forward to staying with them again.

TTpderrickLa qualità del servizio dell'hotel è la migliore per il nostro viaggio in Cina. L'hotel è relativamente vicino alla piazza Tian1 (circa 5 minuti) dove la sorgente musicale viene eseguita intorno 8.30pm (dopo il pranzo). Il personale del Front Desk è molto utile e speciale lode a settembre e Cici. In settembre, l'hotel Amao ha raccomandato di servire deliziose crociere Ningbo e di unirsi alla loro adesione alla carta d'oro solo per Rmb39, che include 6 buoni per colazione all'anno. Oltre al popcorn, serve anche la cena del dessert nella nostra stanza anche dopo le ore di servizio della stanza (7.30pm a 9pm). È possibile organizzare anche la collezione e la consegna dei servizi di lavanderia sul sito. Il servizio frontale, Cici, ha anche aiutato a portare i bagagli a bordo didi auto prima di partire alla stazione Ningbo. Grazie!

UUtente ospiteWe had a great time at this hotel. They upgraded our rooms to lake view and provided us an exclusive butler whose name is MaoJiaXin. She is very helpful and attentive to our needs. She makes it easier for us to enjoy our stay at the hotel. In addition, they have a lot of amenities the children can enjoy. We wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely come back again.

AArthurI would have given a 5-star review for Pan Pacific Ningbo had it not been for allowing guests and even hotel staff to smoke in the hotel! I give 1-star for cleanliness because allowing guests and staff to smoke in a hotel lobby and rooms is simply disgusting! There's nothing clean about it! It's such a waste because Pan Pacific Ningbo has such great facilities and luxurious interior; I even made a video of the hotel and will be posting it on my newly created YouTube channel. I may return again when the Chinese government has banned smoking in hotels and taken a more serious attitude against smoking and enforced the laws against smoking in hotels and restaurants.
Having brought up the bad thing about Pan Pacific Ningbo, I would like to highly commend the following staff for their exemplary services:
1. Cady of the reception
Cady was the same receptionist who checked us in during our two separate stays, on our way to Zhoushan and back from Zhoushan. She was very courteous and friendly. She offered to add me on her WeChat so that I could contact her if I needed anything. True enough, I needed to contact her within a few hours after we checked-in during our second stay. Smoke filled our room. When I found out that it came from the room next to ours, I immediately informed Cady, who immediately arranged for someone to spray air freshener in the corridor. She offered air filter, which I declined as we were already going out. As we walked down the lobby, I realized that Cady had actually left, and she was arranging all those even though she was already off duty! It was also Cady who informed me that GHA Discovery members would get dining discount by giving me a brochure.
2. Cora (陈丽)
Cora was the wait staff attending our table at Madr 99. When I found out that I had run out of mobile data plan, I asked Cora for the passcode to logon to the hotel Wifi. Strangely, there's no option to logon with hotel room number. There were only 2 ways to logon to the hotel wifi: using a passcode and mobile number. Cora kindly offered to use her mobile number to help me logon. She didn't even ask me to use my own mobile number. It was very kind of her to do that. Upon paying the bill, I presented Cora with my GHA Discovery membership card. Cora provided me with 10% discount for silver member, exactly as stated in the brochure that Cady gave me. When we headed back to the serviced suites, another male wait staff chased us and rudely told me that GHA Discovery silver member was not entitled to any dining discount at all. He demanded me to go with him to the cashier to sign a new invoice. I later contacted Cady and asked her to verify with her manager the terms and conditions of dining discount for GHA Discovery member, before we went to Hai Tien Lo to dine in the evening. Cady, who was already at home and off duty, gladly obliged to my request, and confirmed that dining discount was applicable to even silver members. Perhaps hotel management could ask Cora to train the guy properly before allowing him to interact with guests directly! Otherwise, one day he might get punched by guests who are irritated by his behavior.
3. Cavan
Cavan was the porter/concierge who helped us deliver our luggage to our room. He, too, was friendly and polite like Cady and Cora. He even walked us to Madr 99 and showed us where all the hotel restaurants were located. The way he treated us was like VVIP.
The hotel management should treasure and try to retain these 3 excellent staff. Have these 3 experienced staff to train their junior colleagues.

MMei SenIl nostro soggiorno a Wanda Moments a Ningbo è stato perfetto! Dalla nostra arrivo, tutto su questo hotel superava le nostre aspettative. Le camere erano ben progettate, spaziose e impecabilmente pulite, con tutte le comodità e le attrezzature che potevate chiedere.

Tutti i quesiti sono stati risposto, alla reception ci sono bellissime giovani signore che parlano eccellente inglese. La nostra permanenza all'hotel ci ha fatto piacere. Grazie sincere all'amministrazione dell'hotel.

Stylish Ambiance: The hotel, though showing its age, exudes a certain elegance that sets it apart. The vintage touches combined with modern aesthetics create a captivating atmosphere.
Prime Location: CITIC Ningbo enjoys an enviable location, offering easy access to the heart of the city. From my room, I had a delightful view of the surroundings, which added to the overall experience.
Breakfast Variety: The breakfast spread was impressive, with an array of options to suit different tastes. Whether you prefer a hearty meal or something light, the hotel caters to all preferences.
Fully Stocked Mini Bar: The mini bar was a pleasant surprise. It was well-stocked, allowing guests to indulge in their favorite beverages and snacks.
However, there were a couple of areas where the hotel fell short:
Toiletry Oversight: Unfortunately, the housekeeping team overlooked the essential toiletries. I missed having a dental kit, comb, body cream, and shower gel. Even the shampoo was absent from the toiletries collection.
Tiny Bottles: In the cabinet, I found only tiny bottles of body wash and shampoo. While they were functional, I expected more comprehensive amenities.
In summary, CITIC Ningbo International Hotel offers a nostalgic charm, excellent location, and stylish ambiance. With a little attention to detail, it could regain its former glory. If you appreciate a touch of history in your stay, this hotel is worth considering.
