I planned a family trip close to Shanghai and this Hotel was an excellent choice for a calm, relaxing family stay. However, I have particularly chosen this hotel because it was stated as *pets are allowed for request(free) and I booked a Queen room with lake view. As I arrived this hotel, it turns out that I had to upgrade my booking to a Pet room which wasn’t featured in trip.com website so I had to pay approx 1000 rmb per night for my dog. The pet room had a balcony with a little grass but I kept thinking that it should have been clearly informed or stated. So if you plan to stay here with your pet, bearing in mind the total cost for a pet room will be around 2400rmb inc.VAT. Nevertheless the hotel is nicely located with a good lake view and the short trip around Dongqian lake was not bad. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a pet owner though. If you have children this hotel might be a good choice.

For family with small children, this hotel is very recommended. Amazing service from english speaking staffs, a lot of activities for children to play, indoor & outdoor playground, carousels, gokart, mini excavators, indoor & outdoor swimming pools, five star breakfast with lot of varieties Chinese & Western style, spacious room and many more. They provide everything we need. Perfect for staycation

Luxe hotel. Breakfast and restaurant very good. Rooms are very silent and big.

All OK, just a little bit cold if you stay during the week

A great hotel with really top notch service. the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and special care is taken every step of the way. I have no negative comments.

Very nice and friendly staff, I was trying to decorate the room for my wife’s birthday and special thanks to staff (Ms. Kitty and xiao zhang) who helped me for three hours to finish it. Definitely recommended to stay in this hotel

What an amazing experience. The executive room was simply beautiful. If you are looking for a quite getaway trip this hotel will not disappoint you.

Great service. Fairy was ver helpful. She got me upgraded to a better room and arranged a birthday cake for me. She always communicated with me throughout the day in English. Jay from concierge was fantastic and Ivy set up the room. Everyone was amazing at the hotel. I will definitely return again. Than you！🌹

I visited Ningbo for the 1st time and had a nice time. This property is very well kept, clean and wonderful customer service. Unfortunately they had to close the indoor swimming pool, and that was a bit disappointing as I came prepared to swim, but understandable. Overall, I will be back for sure.Thank you for a good stay! First time in this Hotel. Normally we used to go to another Hotel in Dongqian lake. Hotel is very clean. Very kids friendly Hotel. Breakfast very good. We had BBQ set for lunch with very Cold Heineken beer. Recommended Hotel We will come back!

The service was so bad....not once did a staff member speak English to us either. Over priced, less than average. Only plus side was the spa bath in our room.
