Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Die hoteleigene Garage ist gleich beim Hoteleingang und ermöglicht ein stressfreies Entladen des Gepäcks. Die Rezeptionisten sind sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war klein, aber gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet war einfach, aber ganz OK.

J'ai séjourné à deux reprises dans cet hôtel pour passer des entretiens de recrutement et je peux vous assurer que l'accueil est parfait. Assuré par le propriétaire pour chaque client, il vous offre un petit café de bienvenue, une petite viennoiserie. Il a toujours un bon conseil ou un mot gentil pour ses clients, tout en étant très discret. Il m'a même servie comme dans un restaurant, des plats que je lui avais demandé de réchauffer et qui avaient été achetés au Monoprix qui se trouve à proximité. Les chambres sont très propres, l'hôtel est bien situé et vous l'aurez compris : le plus c'est l'accueil et la générosité du propriétaire et du personnel. Super vraiment ! Un grand merci ! PS : Arrivée première au jury, les négociations salariales n'ont pas pu aboutir favorablement mais si je repasse par Nîmes ; je ne manquerais pas de réserver de nouveau ;)

This is a fabulous 17th century property in the center of Nimes. All the major attractions, such as the amphitheater, are within walking distance. The optional breakfast downstairs in the dining room is very nice in buffet style. The rooms are nice and well equipped. As mentioned, there are some drawbacks to this hotel, notably: there is no on-site parking and so you have at least a 10 minute walk to the nearest large parking structure that is reasonable in cost but not free. Figure $30 overnight. Annoyingly, the hotel is in a one-way street and there are parking barriers lining the narrow street. As such, as you arrive, you have to unload your car while holding up traffic. Then you have to find the parking garage and walk back. Not a major deal, but certainly not simple. Last, as this is a 17th century building, there are quite a few steps to navigate, as other travelers have pointed out. There is an elevator, but it doesn’t mitigate all of the stairs, and certainly not the walking to and from the car. Again, not abnormal in an ancient city, but something to be aware of if you’re used to say Hilton or Hyatt parking lots in the states.

Guest experience starts from initial contact with a true gentleman and foremost unconditional professional, Philippe, the owner . His level of expectations transpires in this little stylish, coveted 12 rooms hotel sweetly decorated and putting a guest at ease and feeling cosy instantly. The level of attention is very high and the owner strives to please his guests and ensures the highest level of details that makes a stay truly enjoyable. The room was big, very nicely decorated and offering all amenities once can hope. A true gem in front of the arenas of Nimes . Not to be missed !

Abbiamo prenotato due notti all'Hotel Royal di Nimes, Francia. Il giorno in cui ci siamo accolti, hanno pagato la mia carta di credito per la due notti di alloggio, ma non ne sono stato informato. Quando ci siamo accorti, ci è stato dato un ricevimento per il deposito di due notti, più una tassa di parcheggio e una tassa, che era dovuta alla mia carta di credito, e non è stato fino a quando ho visto la dichiarazione della mia carta di credito che ho capito che erano doppiamente pagati per il deposito di due notti. Le ho mandato un paio di e-mail sulle spese doppie, ma non ho mai ricevuto una risposta. Fortunatamente, la mia compagnia di carte di credito mi ha rimborsato le spese aggiuntive e mi ha detto che si occupassero dell'hotel sulle spese. Non ne ho mai sentito parlare. L'hotel è in una bella posizione per vedere le vicinanze a Nimes, e la stanza era buona. La nostra stanza ha guardato il ristorante all'aperto davanti all'hotel, ma non abbiamo avuto problemi di rumore la notte. Non ci siamo mangiati, perché non hanno offerto pasti senza glutine, ma c'erano altri ristoranti nella città. In generale, un buon soggiorno, tranne per i doppi oneri sulla carta di credito.
