Hotel in zona Waddell Park, Niles

Thank you to eveyone at the HIE Niles Ohio from the bottom of my heart! We were there for our father's funeral - and everyone from out of town stayed. You allowed us a lot of space to gather and grieve - and we truly appreciate it. The late check outs for famiily who had late flights out of CLE were also greatly appreciated. Thank you for your kindness and compassion during a most difficult time. You all went above & beyond - and that difficult to find these days. Please thank Tracy, Chris and I am sorry - I have forgotten her name - but the very sweet lady who takes care of breakfast. We are grateful!

Siamo stati qui ieri sera sulla nostra strada a NY. Siamo fan di Hilton ma non abbiamo mai soggiornato in un Home 2 Suites prima. L'hotel lobby è affascinante, luminoso e moderno. Le camere sono tuttavia sbarba. Il letto è vecchio, le nostre mutandine sono state indossate, piatte e odori di sudorazione o molle..... qualcosa di sbagliato. L’ombra della finestra è stata rotta e non può essere aperta o chiusa senza rischio di rompere la catena. Il bagno aveva tutto quello che ci serviva, ma mi sono spenta dai capelli che ho trovato in uno dei dischi di vanità. La zona della cucina era bella, i piatti erano ancora nel lavastoviglie quando siamo arrivati, quindi non sapevo se fossero puliti o no. Il nostro colazione era buono, stavano preparando un nuovo menu di colazione, ma tutto quello che abbiamo scelto era freddo alla temperatura della stanza non caldo. Non mi fermerò più in questo hotel e probabilmente non resterò in un Home 2 Suites in futuro.

La nostra camera era di due regine e sembrava recentemente rinnovata, tra cui i dispositivi, l'arte, il tappeto, i pannelli e le coperte di finestra e muro. Nella camera mini frigo, microonde, un piccolo cassetto e tre cestini di stoccaggio del filo. Prodotti di ricamo neutrogenici forniti. Molte uscite per caricare i vostri dispositivi telefonici/elettronici, è stato meraviglioso. C'era un mini-caffè e uno specchio lungo, un sedile a ruote e un grande ottoman portatile. Le letti erano molto alte - io sono 6' e mi sentivo bene, ma il mio compagno di viaggio ha avuto difficoltà a salire sul letto. Super facile accesso alla strada, un po' di rumore stradale perché eravamo alla fine della sala, ma l'hotel stesso era molto tranquillo. Tutto era pulito e le tole erano molto morbide. Camera confortevole, molte mutande. Animali amici. Io consiglio questo Hampton!

The room was very clean. The breakfast had nice choices. The hotel lobby and outside and gym were all very clean. The check in was fast and all the employees we came in contact with were super.The pool was clean except they could take care of the towels. Big heep of dirty one and only one clean. Hope someone just didn't come to work that day. I would stay again in a heart beat.

This place should receive four stars (bubbles), but I have decided the time is long overdue to return to daily cleaning of rooms. After all, the prices have only gone up, not down. Lack of staff is no excuse. In addition, I had reserved three rooms, one for my single daughter, one for my second daughter and her husband and one for my wife and myself. (I still don't know if I received IHG points for three rooms). In total, I had reserved rooms for 8 nights. This review covers only our room, 203. We were there 3 nights. So, with that said: This place is located on a wide spot of land between the east bound and west bound lanes of the Ohio turnpike. To say it is noisy 24/7 is an understatement. Who puts a hotel in the ”middle” of a highway? The staff was friendly enough, but they failed to have an extra blanket in our room as requested in the reservation. We had to ask for it. In the room itself, the Internet speed, when measured with speedtest dot net was 20 Mbps down (pretty good) and 9 up (better than mine at home). Lights were everywhere, including beneath the head of the bed (WHY??!!) We could hear the people in the room above us walking and talking. Kids in the room next to ours decided to ”roller skate” (I assume) with the suitcases. They were making a great deal of noise until I beat on the thin wall. They did it again the next night, but stopped before I beat on the wall again. Parents should learn to control their children. The bathroom had good lighting, but there was the usual almost-on-the-floor toilet found in most hotels and it was difficult to flush. With no exhaust fan, the bathroom smelled musty. Sink water pressure was very low. The shower, on the other hand, was okay though the shower head looked disgusting. There were no real towel bars or hooks, only a very short bar beneath the sink. Paint was peeling significantly from the bathroom ceiling. Saturday breakfast was cheese omelets, scrambled by Monday. There was only Greek yogurt. Sausage paddies were tasty. Coffee actually wasn't too bad.

This was by far, the biggest room I have rented lately. And the nicest and cleanest place to stay. Thank you for the amazing service.

We stayed at this hotel as we were visiting family close to this area. We have stayed in multiple places in the Pennsylvania/Ohio area and so far this hotel is the best. The room was spotlessly clean. We were asked if we wanted housekeeping but declined as we were only staying 2 nights but they were more than willing to provide it. Anything we asked for at the front desk was provided with no arguments and with a smile. There were fresh cookies each afternoon by the front desk and coffee and tea were available all day. I did see that one of the days cookies with peanut butter were provided but not indicated in any way and this seemed a little dangerous to me as so many adults and children have severe nut allergies. The public areas of the hotel were nicely decorated and clean. We made use of the business center and were happy to see that the printer worked. I think there was an exercise area but did not notice if there was a pool. The room does not have a safe, which is a convenience, something we have noticed missing in a lot of hotels lately but some kind of secure area is provided at the front desk. The hotel allows pets. Some people would find this a positive but I don't. I actually didn't see any animals while there. The hotel is conveniently located off Route 224, a main drag and even though we could see it from our room, we didn't hear a sound from the traffic. There are a few restaurants within walking distance if you didn't feel like driving, including a Sheetz (similar to 7-11 or Wawa's) for fast food or snacks. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the shower actually had good water pressure, something sadly lacking in a lot of other hotels. The beds were very comfortable. My only complaint, and this goes for other Hilton properties, is that the quilt provided was too warm for July despite the air conditioning. I asked for and was provided a waffle type blanket. The breakfast provided was average fair often seen at other Hilton properties. I was happy that the decaf coffee actually tasted good and fresh and that non dairy creamers were provided. In that vein, I would also like to have seen some margarine or other non dairy spread for bread or bagels as only cream cheese and butter were available. Jelly just doesn't do it on a bagel. All in all we found this hotel first rate and would definitely stay here again.

We are never disappointed when we stay here, NEVER! Very consistent. Clean, Fresh, Friendly and the service by ALL staff is outstanding. The view overlooking the golf course and courtyard takes your mind away from the busy days and you just exhale and relax. Then there is WayPointe for receptions, banquets all kinds of celebrations. Just beautiful! Kensington Grill is a fun place to grab a bite or linger on the courtyard. It is an awesome all in one place to take time and check it out!!!! We go there as an escape and it’s only 15 minutes from home!!! A beautiful golf course with all the amenities!!
