The Aurora RV Park & Marina

Visited again on2/21/25 for one night. Stayed in site 52 so could see the lake from front windows.Lots of little upgrades since our last visit -glamping cabins and coffee shop. Again, Can’t comment on bathrooms or laundry as we didn’t use them. Quiet and clean. Office staff was amazing!

This was one of the worst parks we've ever stayed at. The pictures on the website are not even close to what you get. We were told when we made the reservation that we would get an extra long 60 plus foot pull through site. We had to pay the full $82 for one night at time of reservation. Five days before arrival, we got a text stating our site number was 53 and that it was a 43 foot site for our 32 foot fifth wheel and full size pickup. I responded and asked if there would be enough room to park the truck. I was assured there was plenty of room to park next to the fifth wheel. of course, there was no refund to be gotten. When we arrived we found the roads and sites to be extremely narrow. We had to shoehorn our unit into the site, and park the truck partway into the road. Most everyone was parked into the road. Sign on office stated to call or text a number. Our neighbor told us there is never anyone in the office. Trees were very much in need of trimming. A large oleander bush scraped and damaged a decal on our unit on the way out. There was no way to get past it without brushing it and no one to cut it. Bathrooms were locked with no code given. Garbage cans were overflowing. Looks like most sites occupied by long term residents with junk and older trailers. Dogs were running around off leash. PIcnic table at lake was covered in bird poop. Lake was muddy and full of weeds and algae, with old tires and a broken boat. We feel we were totally duped into staying here based on their website. I'm very suspicious of any of the positive reviews. Must be a plant. Horrible place. Don't be fooled as we were!!!

We loved our stay at the park! We highly recommend this rv park. We came with our entire crew and our 38' rv and had plenty of space with the pull through sites. The lake was beautiful and they had a lot of amenities

My husband and I recently have adventured in our new rig during the snowy months at our home base. We came across Aurora, and instantly became lifetime visitors. Aurora is Dog Friendly as long as you pick up after your dog, Well-Spaced Sites, Great Fishing, and Incredible staff are only a few of the reasons we love Aurora park. We were able to get a Lakeside Spot, and were able to take our dog kayaking multiple times. The Bathrooms were nice and clean. Staff kind and easy to get ahold of. We also enjoyed that our site was level and had some shade. Great Place if you are looking for somewhere to stay, short or long term!
