Good: so cute! Older home with 3 bedrooms. Main floor is unit 1 with a large closet with fridge, it’s own bathroom The hood: Room 1 on the main floor featured a private bath with a tub/shower, shampoo, etc. and more towels than I’ve ever seen for 2 people. Queen sized bed, 2 nightstands and lamps, small bistro set and TV. You enter a common area which features a small table and chairs, and a series of slippers and Crocs to give you the hint that taking shoes off is welcomed. There is also a desk with a laptop set up, and wifi. Next is a room set up as a dining room with cups, plates, flatwear, a micro, coffee pot, mini fridge and a formal wood dining table for 6. This is where breakfast was served in the past. They now leave snacks and fruit as well as coffee for the coffee maker, cream in the fridge, and some rather good biscotti when we were there. The owner lives in the house behind, which is attached, but has no internal connection. I understand there are 2 more units upstairs that are large and maybe share a seating area on the landing. The Falls are down the street, maybe 6 blocks or less. The best souvenirs are located in the State Park gift shop next to Victoria’s Restuarant and Tim Horton’s. Ex: small maple syrup in a glass maple leafed shaped bottle $5.98. Elsewhere is was 7.98 and up. The owner has carefully and cheerfully decorated all the parts we saw. With permission, she can show you a washer and dryer in the house. The Red Ganache Bakery down the street is fabulous. I had some dark chocolate cup filled with coconut cream. And there were several gluten free options, including macarons (not macaroons.. a different thing). The rest of the story; Communication, and breakfast. There are listings all over for this property and due to language barriers and being a small operation, not everything is up to date. There is no hot tub. There are bathtubs. There is no beautiful, wonderful country breakfast that comes with your stay. Fruit and biscotti or muffins, coffee, etc. The photos on Tripmasters of the breakfasts and idea of guests gathered around, visiting, was the reason I booked here. The Red Ganache helped me get over it. And.. the phone numbers seem to change a lot. Or maybe they had a land line that went away. And English is not their first language, so be patient. Lastly, most odd and nothing to do with the listing… transportation to and from Pearson Airport is non existent. Oh there’s a bus… $200 for 2 and upwards of 4 hours to get there. We Uber’d for about the same price, and on a weekday around 3, it still took 2 hours to get there. On a weekday around 9 am, the reverse trip was around an hour. Car rental was $500 for an economy car for 3 days, before any gas, taxes or insurance. So, it is Cozy and it offers an alternative to the $300-700 a night hotels. Sono rimasto qui lo scorso settembre e sono tornato questo settembre/Ottobre per un matrimonio. Basato su noi stessi a Niagara Falls per oltre 2 settimane e ha avuto un piacevole soggiorno al motel oasis. Fantastico staff, molto accogliente e amichevole. Smettetela di parlare ogni giorno e ci assicurate che siamo a posto, felici, confortevoli, ecc. Sicuramente andarono di sopra e di là. Grazie Tommy e Abhi. Abbiamo 3 adulti condivisi una camera, 2 letti puliti, asciugamani, TV, acqua calda, bagno/duche, frigorifero, microonde, ecc Tutto quello che ci serve. Sì, è data e richiede un po 'di aggiornamento, ma certamente non ci ha fermato a avere un buon soggiorno e una fantastica vacanza. La sola vicinanza alla collina Clifton è eccellente. Anche il parcheggio per gli ospiti non è possibile. Ci ritroveremo. Grazie ancora Tommy e Abhi per andare oltre e oltre.

We cam from California and stayed on the Canadian, safe and peaceful side, with breathtaking scenery. Upon our arrival, the owner-Alice greeted us and gave us a suite tour. We felt at home the whole time we were there with a comfortable bed. Everything was perfect for what we were looking for, especially the breakfast Alice (owner) and her husband cooked to perfection every day. The place was super clean and within walking distance to restaurants, and Niagara Falls (less than 10 minutes). The service was excellent, with the owner going above and beyond to ensure we were happy and comfortable. It is very safe and quiet during the day and late at night. We would definitely stay there again!! Thank you Alice

First off, I liked this place. A 5* joint it isn't but then again they do not charge 5* prices. General... Yes, it is a bit jaded and could do with some TLC. In the room it had a fridge & microwave (great for making hot coffee to start the day). 2 Queen beds. A bit soft but comfortable. Clean bedding. 4 towels & 2 facecloths + soap & shampoo. The shower ran nice and hot. Plenty of sockets for your electricals. WEGO bus about 600 metres away. Small supermarket 600 metres away to the left too. TGI Friday, Pizza place, Applebees & other eateries all 400 metres to 1 K.M. away. A rack of info leaflets + a map in reception. The not so good... The TV is a bit dated with few channels. The overall decor was reasonable but needs some TLC. The windows need either net curtains / blinds or some tinting so you can open the curtains and retain some privacy. Though clean, the bathroom also needs some TLC. A small table and 2 basic chairs outside to sit and smoke if you wish that overlooks the car park. The view will not take your breath away but that can be said for many places. The staff... Suman deserves a special mention. She was great. A very helpful lady. Cheerful too. If I had queries or needed something she was happy to help if she could. The other receptionist might smile but was nowhere near as hospitable and helpful - not something you need when on a first visit, to be honest. Generally friendly and polite other staff. For the naysayers I see moaning about this place, I'd say to them, spend more and go stay at the Hilton or similar. LOL. This is a place to sleep, shower, have a coffee or 3 and serves that function quite well.

Il parcheggio non è gratuito, $10/day e c'era il vetro rotto in tutto il parcheggio tutto il tempo che eravamo lì. Inaspettatamente ho avuto il mio periodo in mezzo alla notte e sanguinò sui lettini, e sul pannello di materassi sotto. Non pensavo che sarebbe stato un grosso sforzo perché, come ogni donna sa, il sangue viene fuori con acqua fredda e biancheria. Tuttavia, dopo aver controllato ho ricevuto una chiamata dall'hotel che mi ha detto che mi stanno prelevando la carta di credito $250 per le foglie di sangue. Ho cercato di spiegare e scusarmi per l'incidente, il proprietario ha sollevato la sua voce su di me, mi ha chiamato disgustoso e poi mi ha legato. Tornai al motel chiedendo di vedere le foglie, ma non mi lascerebbe andare, e mi mostrava solo le foto della tintura che uscirebbero facilmente se fossero davvero lavate le foglie. Ho sostenuto che non avevo autorizzato alcuna ricarica supplementare, ma ha sostenuto che lo avevo fatto, ma non mi avrebbe permesso di vedere il modulo con la mia firma, né mi avrebbe permesso di parlare con un altro dipendente nell'aula. L'unico modulo che ho firmato è stato un danno, e il sangue sulle foglie non è danneggiato, è lavabile ma chiaramente questo hotel non pulisce le loro stanze o qualcosa in loro. Se un bambino bagna il letto, costano 250 dollari? O se qualcuno ha accidentalmente gettato una bevanda sul letto? Oltre a questo incidente che mi ha lasciato completamente disumanato, degradato, e fuori $250, le porte del motel non funzionano correttamente, il frigo non funziona, e nessun fan nel bagno. Inoltre, l'intero hotel STINKS e i suoi dipendenti non sono assolutamente benvenuti.
