Hotel in zona Newcastle City Library, Newcastle

Truthfully this was a panic-booking! After LNER cancelled every train moving southbound from Newcastle, I just chose the cheapest place I could find in the city I was stranded in. With easyHotel, check-in was super seamless even though we had to wait a little bit in queue. Receptionists were friendly and helpful, and walked us through check-in and check-out. Arriving in our room, it was definitely cozy but it absolutely did the job for what we needed for the night! It was clean, bed was comfortable, there was television for entertainment, a table and a chair if you need them, toilet was spotless, and shower had wonderful water pressure. We were even allowed to order in food from Deliveroo at two separate occasions, which we thoroughly appreciated after a long and disappointing journey of cancelled trains and bitter weather. We had a fun dinner in our room while watching rugby, it just made for such an enjoyable stay! We slept really well and got freshened up for a new day with no hassle at all. Check-out was, of course, seamless once again and once we got out of easyHotel in the daylight we came to appreciate the stunning scenery of Newcastle we were nestled in! The location was surprisingly so nice, and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect accidental stay to a new city. It definitely relieved so much of our tiredness and disappointment from the previous day. Definitely a 10/10, would recommend you to stay in at easyHotel if you're planning a short trip or a cheap alternative ♡

I organised a stay here for 19 people, from start to finish staff were extremely helpful with all matters. The rooms were perfect and better than what you’d expect from a hostel. We weren’t bothered by staff although having a large group of boys there for a stag do. Any queries we had throughout the weekend were answered by staff mostly Jade who was excellent with us all weekend not only helping us with advice about Newcastle and booking taxis but also having a laugh at the same time. I’d struggle to book somewhere else when I return to Newcastle.

It's a good price for where th hotel is it's nice and close to everything! But the restaurant inside th hotel has actually shut down and we didn't no this until we actually went to get food which was abit annoying! The staff were ok but not as friendly and nice as other hotels I have been to. I am diabetic and my blood sugar was dropping we tried to ask for help but they weren't to fussed thankfully there was a vending machine

Il trasporto è molto conveniente, quattro o cinque minuti alla stazione di metropolitana, l'igiene è più pulita, la stanza è piccola e malata per l'hotel britannico, ma può essere accettata.Ci sono molti canali TV, non c'è modo di schermata. Fantastic stay at this hotel. Arrived at 1.30am with no problems checking in. Thought there would be some issues due to the time I arrived but zero problems at all. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from train and bus station so the location is great. The metro is also very close to the hotel. Breakfast was very good and the staff were extremely friendly. I would have no hesitation staying at this hotel or recommending it to others.

Situato vicino alla Stazione Centrale di Newcastle, questo hotel è piuttosto magnifico, ma anche se il decoro è data e vecchia, ha alcune belle qualità architettoniche per l'edificio. Due magnifici candelabroni di vetro si fermarono dal piano superiore, tutto il tempo che avevano per le scale.La mia stanza era vecchia, ma molto comoda e molto pulita, anche se un po' calda. Ho dormito con la finestra aperta, che era buona. Il colazione mattina era una miscela di cereali, buffet fritto inglese e pane/croissants. Era assolutamente delizioso e il personale che serviva tè/caffe' è molto attento. La sala colazione/bar è molto piacevole. Non ho pagato molto per la mia camera/ colazione, quindi le mie aspettative erano modeste al meglio, ma erano superate in ogni modo. Ben fatto a tutti i dipendenti! La posizione è anche brillante per una notte fuori sul tono!

Siamo nel club IHG e abbiamo quindi soggiornato in altri hotel Indigo. Questa è la nostra prima visita a Newcastle. Abbiamo iniziato a un brutto inizio perché quando ho cercato di chiamare l'hotel prima della nostra arrivo mi sono messo in una buca senza fine che non è andato da nessuna parte. Infine ho dovuto contattare Indigo Central, che aveva lo stesso problema, ma qualcuno dell'hotel mi ha contattato e mi ha scusato per le difficoltà del sistema telefonico, ma non è una buona prima impressione. L'altro problema che abbiamo avuto è stato con le carte di stanza che ho dovuto ricalibrare un totale di cinque volte nei due giorni in cui eravamo li'. Alla fine ci fu detto che se li tenessimo nella stessa borsa di un telefono cellulare o nelle vicinanze, questo avrebbe fermato la carta di lavoro. Non è un problema che ci ricordavamo di avere altrove. La stanza era moderna e confortevole, come la bagno. Abbiamo trovato la materassi sul lato duro, c’erano molti piatti, un’illuminazione adeguata e una stanza sicura, il tè, il caffè e le biscotti erano forniti come un frigorifero con acqua in bottiglia. Abbiamo mangiato all'hotel la prima notte e abbiamo trovato la cena molto buona. Eravamo confusi che all'interno dell'hotel ci fossero segni di riferimento a un ristorante Marco Pierre Bianco, ma si è accertato che era stato chiuso. Il ristorante è ora il Grainger. Ci è stata una buona scelta di colazione a servizio personale, e anche un menu cucinato. Quindi i positivi superano i negativi, e probabilmente rimarremmo qui se tornassimo a Newcastle.

Il parcheggio è molto situato sul lato del quayside. L'hotel dispone di parcheggi, ma questi sono limitati e quindi parcheggio al parcheggio al di là del college di Gateshead, a circa 6 minuti a piedi. Tbh è stato più economico parcheggiare lì che il parcheggio dell'hotel e non così lontano. L'hotel è ben presentato e il bar adiacente sul pavimento è anche in camera aperta, per poter godere delle viste. La stanza era molto pulita, a parte alcune tinture a mano sul muro sopra il bagno, e sembravano più vecchie tinture che probabilmente non sarebbero uscite se non fossero di nuovo dipinte. Non posso commentare il colazione, perché non ho avuto nessuna, ma l'hotel ha fornito un buono di caffè del bar e anche un po' di soldi da mangiare dal loro ristorante. In generale un bel hotel e rimarrebbe mai nella zona.

La posizione è molto buona. La camera è pulita e confortevole. C'è una piccola stanza per il deposito bagagli. Molto sicuro.
