Hotel in zona Madina Masjid, Newcastle

Great location, Friendly staff, Apartment was spotless, although there was a leak on the ceiling of the living room, bed was comfortable although the duvet cover wasn't the right size however when I *****ped the beds I noticed that there was a padded mattress protector being used instead of a duvet.

Stayed in this hotel for a one night business trip stay over. If you’re looking for something with a little character this is a great place to stay . Central Newcastle , right next to the central train station and Metro entrance, a little bit of elegance. A lovely entrance foyer ( decorated with an amazing Christmas tree) with large chandeliers and helpful staff at check in. Finding my room was a bit of an adventure , but part of the charm of a historic building . My room was clean , quiet , mini fridge , kettle and tea/coffee , tv , surprisingly good bathroom and comfortable bed. I had a good English breakfast in the morning , and again the staff were lovely. I thought it was very good value , and I would stay again .

Hotel location was great, check-in was quick and easy, reception staff were very helpful when I struggled to book a taxi. The young lady working on housekeeping the 2 days we stayed was extremely lovely, chatted to us about the hotel food and was very complimentary about it, told us about the local area and some places to visit, she is an absolute asset to the hotel.

Bene, un piccolo gemello di un hotel. Bella posizione vicino al castello e vicino al Quayside. Abbiamo avuto un bellissimo soggiorno, il personale era fantastico! Così utile, gentile e amichevole e molto professionale. Siamo sentiti molto speciali e guardati. L'hotel è pulito e la nostra camera era bella. Non abbiamo mangiato altro che per il colazione che era delizioso e ci sono molte opzioni, il personale lì era ancora molto bella e attenta. Il tempo era bello quando eravamo li', ma non c'era aria condizionata. Apprezzo che sia un edificio più vecchio e non sia sempre possibile installare unità di Air Con, ma alcuni fan sparsi intorno lo avrebbero reso un po' più portatile nelle aree pubbliche . C'era un fan fornito nel nostro letto che era molto benvenuto come il sole che affrontava le finestre tutto il giorno ! Abbiamo anche trovato il letto non molto comodo, la materna era troppo dura per noi, ma poi questo può essere adatto ad altre persone, quindi non è una critica veramente dell'hotel più la nostra preferenza di avere una materna più morbida. In tutto ciò, andremmo certamente a questo hotel, ma penso che andrò nei mesi più freddi.

We had a great stay, the price was awesome but next time I will go elsewhere cos I missed having a kettle! If you want a decent room at an amazing price I don't think you could do better

Abbiamo soggiornato per 6 notti e non è stato un buon prezzo per i soldi. Le camere sono grandi con un letto e un divano massiccio. Pulito poi con una doccia eccellente. Il fronte del personale della casa erano amichevole, ma Steph e Megan erano eccezionali. Come Ferida e Jimmy erano al ristorante per colazione, il colazione era abbondante con molte scelte calde e fredde. L'unica osservazione che ho è che, mentre il cibo caldo viene cucinato, si tiene caldo alla stazione di autoservizio, oggetti come le uova fritte e i pomodori possono asciugare. Può chiedere omelette fresche (eccellente) o uova in polvere (eccellente) o funghi freschi (eccellente) o pudding nero (più di eccellente!!). Mangiavamo solo uno dei nostri sei pasti di sera nel ristorante, come dopo un giro di quattro ore, era più facile. Il cibo era buono, ma il servizio di Josh era favoloso ... un credito all'hotel. L'unica critica che ho avuto è stata quando ho letto la mia fattura dopo averla portata a casa, c'era un costo automatico 12.5% per il servizio del pasto. Se ti piace il cibo indiano, posso certamente raccomandare il ristorante Jashn che è solo quattro minuti di auto e è stato uno dei migliori pasti indiano che abbia mai avuto (potrei anche raccomandare Michelangelo per alta qualità italiana e solo 8 minuti dall'hotel). Abbiamo avuto una bella pausa per vedere la famiglia e gli amici e saremo sicuramente tornati l'anno prossimo e saremmo rimasti nel Delta

Difficult to get to as roadworks and confusing one way system. Website advertised car park for overnight stay £5 but actual charge is £15. Room had large glass window but on ground floor overlooking a road. No possibility of fresh air so noisy air conditioning meant uncomfortable sleep. Mini bar with nothing in it. Cup of coffee £4.95. Staff appeared fairly indifferent as many tourists coming and going. Would not recommend as other nearby hotels offer free car parking and much easier to arrive at by road.

In generale, mi sono divertito molto con la mia permanenza qui, eccetto per il colazione che ritornerò in un momento. L'hotel è così bellamente situato vista l'acqua e si può andare a piedi lungo la spiaggia fino alla spiaggia. Il personale era molto amichevole e utile in ogni momento. La mia stanza era pulita e aveva tutto quello che doveva, tra cui una buona vista. Il pasto serale di merluzzo e chips era eccellente. L'unica grande delusione era la colazione. Ho chiesto un salsa vegetariana, ma mi è stato detto che avrei dovuto aspettare 20 minuti (e mi sono precipitato a un incontro in modo da non poter aspettare) così ho scelto altre cose vegetariane che erano davvero molto povere - pomodori tinti, Camere di gomma senza gusto e fagioli dolci. Allora volevo caffè di caffè, ma tutto quello che avevano era un tin di istante. Gli standard del colazione potevano essere molto migliorati, ma in un altro modo, mi piaceva molto l'hotel.

The drive up to the castle was was fantastic as the view of the castle looked stunning. The entrance to the court yard for parking was quaint and inviting. The look of the court yard looking at all the out buildings looked inviting and very well presented. The “stocks” make for great entertainment The entrance to the reception is like looking for the secret door but the plaque at the side with history information explains why and is interesting to read. Inside the reception is is quite dark but this for me added to the ambience of the place. The staff where welcoming, polite and explained the hotel set up. We stayed in one of the room in the courtyard which was beautiful. Very nicely decorated and good value for money. The room was cozy. We’d booked to have a meal in the Knights Restaurant and we had pre drinks in the bar first The walk to the restaurant through the corridor into the central courtyard was very different yet beautiful. It’s so old and it was nice to see it was decorated and kept within “keeping” The bar again was inviting and cosy and it was great to see that the drinks and wine list was very reasonably priced. So often places know you are a target audience and inflate the prices ridiculously however in our opinion the castle had not done this. There was a good choice of cocktails and the “smoked” cocktails added that something a little bit different and we didn’t mind paying a few pounds more for the “quirkiness”. Again the staff where very professional, friendly and well presented. The walk from the bar/lounge area to the Knights Restaurant was stunning through the corridors of the castle and past a lovely looking staircase and when we walked into the restaurant I was overwhelmed as it was stunning and not what I was expecting. The arched ceiling, the lighting, the privacy of how the tables where set out we felt was very nice. We thought it all created a romantic setting. It was very secluded but included. The menu choice was good and the food was beautiful. The service was great too and again the staff were very professional, polite and very well presented. The prices on the menu varied so I would say they’d catered fo most people’s budget and it was your own choice on how much you spend Our nights sleep was comfortable and the walk back from the restaurant to the courtyard was well lit but again in keeping with been in a castle environment. Great use of mood lighting. My husband even went into the stocks on the was home (🤣) Breakfast the next morning again did not disappoint. The selection was fantastic and plenty of food to choice from Overall we can can not fault our experience. It was a lively venue with great facilities and very well presented. The staff where Courteous, polite, friendly and very well presented. I would recommend this as a place to go and stay. We must go back so we can stay in one of the castle rooms as I am sure they would be as good and maybe even more “quirkier” than the courtyard rooms which were very nice.
