Be specific with the address in your SatNav, as the postcode only will pull you up around 100metres short of the house entrance. Once through the entrance, believe you are in a beautiful oasis of a house and gardens, with a stream running through it to the right down to the river at the bottom of the garden. This is where many native wild birds flit in and out of the trees and bushes. You will enjoy watching these while you’re eating the loveliest of breakfasts made with fresh local produce, cooked perfectly. We were met on arrival by Karen, a quick check in and explanation of what’s where in the house and then shown to our room on the ground floor. Everywhere is decorated to a very elegant level, the cleanliness, well…..you know the level you’d like places to be and often feel let down, Melin Pandy is the measure of excellence in high standards of professional cleanliness everywhere, the room, en-suite, everywhere. The bed was absolutely perfect, I had three nights of full eight hours sleep, unheard of. I apologise if my wife’s snoring disturbed anyone? Out of the B&B control is dining establishments for evening meals in Wales generally Sunday-Tuesday can be difficult to find. Solutions exist in a short drive to either Carmarthen or Cardigan where there is a good selection and variety, I would avoid local pubs on these days, other days I’d recommend a short drive to the Nags Head Inn or, The Daffodil Inn, both highly rated and we were well fed in both. All in the Melin Pandy is centrally located for Mid Wales, the owners couldn’t have been more helpful, the accommodation couldn’t have been any nicer. As owners you should be very proud of what you offer, we loved our stay, every bit of it. Thank you both.

Fabulous. Quiet location with large balcony overlooking the river. High standard of decoration. Very high quality room. Bed very comfortable with dressing gowns provided. 2 guest lounges with comfortable furniture and tvs. Ensuite really large and immaculate. Very good shower. Breakfast was very good- even kippers. Highly reccomend. Well signposted.

What a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. Melin Pandy is spotlessly clean and the bedroom large and very comfortable with a good sized en suite. Tea and coffee all provided with more if required. There are two lounges available to guests and a sun terrace which is off the dining room. The proprietors were marvellous, friendly, helpful and attended to everything we needed. Breakfast was very good. I will certainly be booking to stay there again, a real find!

Home from our 2nd stay here and we were not disappointed. Fabulous room with everything that we needed. Immaculately clean room and great shower. The gardens are beautiful and breakfast kept us going throughout day. Thankyou so much to the hosts , we look forward to returning again in the future.

We stayed two nights. Spotless, well maintained room, friendly hosts and an excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Besides the standards, tea, coffee etc their are lots of small touches that make you feel "at home". The property has beautiful grounds with easy parking - its about a 10 minute walk into the town centre. The price is very good value for money. Very minor quibble, we stayed when it was very hot and the quilts were very thick.

Melin Pandy is a first class B & B set in beautifully kept grounds and, as you would expect for a former Mill, has a stream running through it. Karen and Mick are lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome. Our spacious bedroom and shower room were very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Lovely good quality bed linen and fluffy towels plus complimentary toiletries, bathrobes and hairdryer. A good array of teas, coffee and biscuits replenished daily. The breakfasts were amazing with a great choice to suit every taste. The full English {or should it be Welsh!) filled us up for the day. We could not fault this B & B, it is the best we have stayed in, and we will be back next year. Thank you for your hospitality. Nigel & Michele
