Hotel in zona Tiferet Shaul, Rabbi Michael Haber, New York

Stavamo cercando di trascorrere qualche giorno a Coney Island. L'hotel era uno dei più vicini, ma comunque a 15-20 minuti a piedi, il che non è particolarmente vicino. Devi camminare vicino a un trafficato cantiere di cemento e numerose officine di riparazioni auto per arrivarci. Nonostante la passeggiata, siamo riusciti a visitare tutti i siti della zona senza problemi. L'hotel era pulito e il personale cordiale. C'era una varietà di cibi per la colazione e la donna ha lavorato molto duramente per mantenere il cibo rifornito durante la corsa mattutina. Tutto sommato, abbiamo trascorso un buon soggiorno e ne è valsa la pena.

La posizione ideale dell'hotel permette di viaggiare facilmente su bt su metropolitana a Manhattan. L'hotel pulito permette di soggiornare confortevolmente. Vicino alla città di Chinatown a Brooklyn, situato nella 8a Avenue a Brooklyn. La stazione della metropolitana è intorno all'angolo, la stazione della metropolitana è 8th Avenue a Brooklyn. Molti ristoranti asiatici nelle vicinanze e un Popeyes intorno all'angolo. Solo 30 minuti a piedi dalla metropolitana di Manhattan. Nella stessa strada dell'hotel troverete molti ristoranti asiatici deliziosi e a prezzi accessibili. Ci sono anche un posto di bowling e una tavola da piscina situato nella stessa strada dell'Hotel Insignia Brooklyn. Ci siamo trasferiti qui per una settimana e abbiamo una stanza con due letti regina. Abbiamo avuto vista stradale sulla strada e una spaziosa bagno. Il condizionamento d'aria funziona bene e freddo. Ci sono un bel e semplice colazione ogni giorno da 7 a 9 a piedi al lobby. Ci sono sempre tè, acqua calda a caffè disponibile a piedi.

L'ambiente è molto generale, la finestra è anche malata, ma il servizio è buono, l'atteggiamento di servizio della reception è buono.

Forced into a stay here when flight cancellations marooned me, and half the air traveling world it seems, at JFK on a Friday night. It is a nightmare to find oneself stranded at 9pm when the last flight out is cancelled and bad weather means there is a seething mass of humanity trying to rebook flights and to get hotels. There was nothing remotely close to JFK and this hotel, at about 30 minutes ride and $80 on Uber was the best option. Arrived around 11pm. The reception area is small and actually doesn't match the decent exterior when you show up. There is an elevator as you walk in and reception to the right. We were efficiently booked in, if in a slightly taciturn manner. Last minute bookings mean you get what you are given in terms of room location, and we had 104 which is directly opposite the elevator, across a corridor that is not wide. My heart sinks when this happens because proximity to an elevator often means noise. Actually, I didn't notice noise from this or anything else on this short stay, which may be because I had been awake for 24 hours having just arrived on a transaltantic flight. The room was small, with two large beds that dominated the room. Large flat screen of course, plus some storage (not that we needed it) for clothes. Beds were actually very comfortable and clean, as was the whole room. The bathroom was similarly compact but there was an excellent walk in shower and I commend Comfort Inn for doing this. Much preferable to an over the tub shower in my view. Shower worked well, the door to the bathroom wouldn't latch or lock but that's probably not a big issue for most I'm sure. This was a bit of a feature of the hotel - door knobs that were loose, things that didn't quite close properly etc. We were there for about 8 hours in total so I can't comment on the location but, although close to an elevated roadway, seemed fine. There was a basic breakfast in a dedicated area but the pickings looked pretty thin and we had a plane to catch and promptly Ubered (there are plenty around) back to the airport. Would I stay here again? Probably not by choice but if you need a place to lay your head it's absolutely fine.
