Beautiful modern hot springs resort! The rooms are extremely large, and the in-room tub is especially lovely to have given that the public bath closes a bit early (I believe it was at 20:30). The staff is helpful and speaks English. The public bath is large, clean, well-designed, and has a nice view of the mountains. Breakfast was not bad but nothing special. I would definitely recommend Pause Landis for a great stay in Wulai!

Check in is at 16:00, fen at reception upgraded our room to a Mountain View, room was clean, it was a good size with 2 tubs (cold & hot) , had a balcony & a small fridge, a little bit far from old town wulai but they have a shuttle that can take you for ntd 150/way, staff was really helpful and very hospitable, they definitely go the extra mile to accommodate your needs and requests, thank you to Ling & Fen, you guys made our stay extra comfortable.

捷運站出口出去不到5分鐘就可以抵達, 比起其他必須要到對岸並得走上坡的飯店要方便很多. 飯店的人員很親切友善. 房間的清潔度待改善, 一開始覺得還不錯, 後來開始在窗檯發現未清的垃圾, 地板也不是很乾凈, 衣櫃邊角還有之前房客遺留的茶漬/咖啡漬, 要喝水時發現杯子都是髒的必需要請人員來更換 隔天委婉地請房務來清潔房間但可能人手不足所以我們不在的時間無法幫忙打掃 早餐的部分很簡單, 但基本上種類都齊全

We've traveled worldwide, and The Koos Hotel is the worst and dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed in. If you are considering staying at this place, book another place now. My family had a big family reunion in Taiwan. Due to the hotel's convenient location, which is within walking distance from my relative's house, we booked several rooms to accommodate our big family. The night front staff was rude from the minute we walked into the hotel. He has no basic manner (ie. hello, thank you, or smile). I feel sorry for this miserable man. The day shift front desk staff was better but could have been better too. The hotel is very old and needs a lot of work/TLC. You can smell it as soon as you walk into the room. The carpet and bathroom were old and dirty. One of our rooms even had a moldy closet. The shower was not draining and flooded when we took a shower. The AC is bearly working to stay cold. Not to mention, we saw cockroaches in the room. The list goes on and on. The only clean thing was the bed sheet and bathroom towels. We arrived very early at 1 am, plus many of us just got off the plane after 15 hours of international flight. We don't have enough energy to find another hotel at that time. Besides, we have already paid for the rooms. What annoyed me the most was when the manager promised us a bigger room (we even double-confirmed before arrival); by the time we check-in, the same night shift front desk staff said the room they promised us was booked by other people already and gave us a standard room instead. No apology whatsoever. We are upset because the Koos Hotel has no simple principle and all because they want to make an extra buck. I don't want anyone to be treated this way.
