Arredamento carino ma: nessuna concessione. Il servizio clienti sembrava amichevole, ma i nostri problemi con la camera non sono mai stati risolti come promesso. La pulizia non era orribile, ma ovviamente mancava di attenzione ai dettagli. Sembravano essere a corto di personale, il che è molto probabilmente la causa alla base di tutti i problemi sopra elencati. Per il prezzo, ti aspetteresti molto meglio di quanto riceverai. (L'aria della stanza non funzionava... Mancava il telecomando... Nessun telefono nella stanza... Chiamate alla reception via cellulare=nessuna risposta/dovuto andare fisicamente alla reception per segnalare che il nostro bagno non avrebbe funzionato t sciacquone. I tappeti sono sporchi ovunque/non hanno un buon odore...)

L'hotel è carino, è solo che ottieni quello che paghi. La posizione è vicino a Bourbon Street, quindi è un bonus. Adoro l'arredamento della stanza, ma i corridoi hanno un odore un po' strano. e il parcheggio accanto è davvero sicuro (Tulane Parking). Per una posizione carina, economica e vicina lo consiglierò.

When arriving, our room had holes in the carpet, ripped bedding, the toilet didn’t work, and it smelled like ****. We made the front desk aware and they were very nice and accommodating. They moved us to a new room and it was great! Walking to the French quarter wasn’t too bad but a little further than I would have liked. Overall it was pretty good hotel. Not sure I would stay here again though.

our stay was amazing , we will be returning just not to the same room . the only thing i didn’t like was the fact that our tv was broke but we weren’t there to watch tv so it didn’t really bother me . the staff was very friendly and helpful

Just stayed there Thursday to Monday Super Bowl week. I was very happy with the hotel. Nice updated room friendly staff and excellent breakfast. This location was perfect for walking to everything. I was a little hesitant reading some of the reviews but they were wrong we were very happy.

A few days prior to my arrival at this hotel, I was instructed to call back to inquire about upgrading my room. I explained to the representative that, as a Hilton Honors member, I would like to upgrade my room regardless of the cost, provided there was availability. He responded with an attitude, stating that was not how it worked and that I was merely a regular member, implying that my business was not valued. This is my third stay at this hotel, and unfortunately, it has been the worst experience I have had at any hotel. Not only did the televisions in our room not function throughout our stay, but the five channels we did receive were of poor quality. The hotel elevator was out of order, and the second elevator had a limited capacity, allowing only five people per trip, resulting in wait times exceeding 25 minutes. The WiFi service was also unavailable in our room. The toilet did not flush on the first day, but this issue was resolved by maintenance on the second day. The hotel hallway had a persistent sewage odor throughout our stay. The shower was dirty, and housekeeping only serviced our room once during our stay. I had upgraded my room prior to arrival and expected it to meet basic standards. I requested a room change at the front desk, but they claimed the hotel was fully booked. One staff member demonstrated a good understanding of the hotel and provided excellent service. However, other staff members seemed disengaged and spent their time using their cell phones. The overall experience was unacceptable, and had I been able to obtain a refund, I would have checked out of the hotel. On January 23, 2025, I contacted Hilton's customer service line to confirm receipt of my message. The representative stated that she could not locate a file and requested my confirmation number. After providing the number, she informed me that the file had been closed by the hotel, which explained why she could not find it. I asked if there were any further actions she could take, and she replied that she was unable to assist me further and that I would need to contact the hotel directly. The hotel claimed that none of the issues I experienced were reported during my stay, despite my numerous visits to the front desk. I question how I would have known about the hotel's renovation, as this information was not available online. It was only through a conversation with maintenance staff that I became aware of the renovation. Similarly, how would I have known that the hotel was fully booked if I had not inquired with customer service? Furthermore, how would the hotel have been aware of the issue with the toilet if I had not reported it?

Don't confuse this Hampton Inn with the Hampton Inn on Carondalet street. They both say "French Quarter" in their name, but the other Hampton Inn is much better and in a much better location. This Hampton Inn is above Rampart Street, not in the best area. When we checked in, we were told that neither of the two elevators worked and we would need to take the service elevator. Picture a metal and cement cage with wires hanging out.. one of the workers had to man the elevator because it was rather finicky. A few times it stopped on the 11th floor and wouldn't go any higher. We had to walk from there up to the 14th floor. A few people had gotten stuck in the elevators after they were fixed, so they were once again shut down. The desk clerk explained that they overheat quite often. This is a fire hazard and they need to fix them. (Read previous reviews) We were told if we needed to come downstairs, we needed to call the front desk and they would send somebody up in the service elevator... I walked 14 flights of stairs for the entire weekend. The hotel, itself, is fine. rooms were okay, bathroom was very small and breakfast was nice. The location of the hotel is not good, it is above Rampart street and a more dangerous area. It was about a 15 minute walk to the French Quarter and I wouldn't recommend walking after dark. There are many other choices in the same price range but better locations and have elevators that work.

My husband and I stayed here with four others (two couples). Our room was decent. No real complaints about the room. Another couple in our party stated that they had issues with the air conditioner in their room. The location of the hotel is great. Short walk to Bourbon Street area. Cons: The hotel lobby smells like sewage. Our biggest complaint is the elevators. One elevator was out of order the entire time. The second elevator was slow and stopped working a few times. It stops on the 8th floor every time you go down. They had employees taking guests up on the service elevator. The breakfast wasn’t great. The muffins were cold like they were taking out of the fridge. Customer service was overall subpar. Employees were not always helpful and at times appeared to be clueless. Last thing, we found out the day before our trip that the hotel no longer had a pool. It was covered to make more rooms. Most likely, would not stay here again. If we do, it would only be for the location.

Horrible hotel!! Do not stay here. They had two elevators both were not working most of the time. We had to wait in line and take the service elevator to our room on the 16th floor. When the elevator was working it made many stops because it was the only one is service. We packed up and moved to a different hotel

Kenneth was exceptional. He was knowledgeable and pleasant. He helped us with directions and attractions. He was very kind. The hotel was acceptable and parking was easy for a downtown self park hotel. The security person was very helpful and kind also. We felt good about our stay.
