Hotel Monteleone

Siamo stati benissimo al montelrone, siamo stati in due hotel mentre eravamo a New Orleans e questo è stato di gran lunga il migliore. Il personale era così cordiale e disponibile, specialmente gli uomini della porta. Ci siamo persino ritrovati a tornare lì per usare il bar anche quando stavamo in un altro hotel per la seconda parte della nostra settimana.

From check in to check out, we had the most amazing experience staying here and I’ll start with this: customer service! we got in a little later and were tired from traveling so rather than explore the French quarter, we grabbed dinner at criollo where mayur was our server. He was SO knowledgeable and attentive and friendly. We were checked on by the manager, Mr. Dupree and this is where our stay really took off. He went over the whole list we’d brought with us to tell us what was really worth doing in the city! That guy? KNOWS New Orleans! He’s a gem. We spent several stops into the hotel chatting with him about the history of the city and it was an absolute pleasure feeling like we had a friend who worked there. He was also our tour guide if you will at the iberville tower cocktail experience at the carousel bar (lauren was our bartender, and just another testament to the service of the hotel!). It was an hour long and WELL worth it. Tim was the new manager on shift for the next few days and he picked up right where Dupree left off. He treated us like we were family at the property and made sure our dinner experience at le petit chef was incredible (another “to do” I highly suggest! The interactive dinner was such a cool experience.) our room was beautiful! The service superb! The hotel employees wonderful! I’m not sure we could ever stay somewhere else on a trip back to the cool city of New Orleans! (Honorable mentions of great employees was Wadzie at the front desk, and I believe it was either Roy or Ray at Criollo who assisted mayur). 10/10!!! Happy holidays to anyone lucky enough to spend time at the Monteleone.

We had 2 rooms here and stayed for about 5 days. Everything exceeded expectations to the customer service in every area, food, pricing, cleanliness, amenities. Housekeeping went above and beyond each day we were there. As a mom on vacation, it was nice to feel taken care of. My room had a view of the Mississippi River and it was so fun to watch the action on it and beautiful river boat. Drinks were as expected pricey, but food was reasonable for cost and very good. The pool bar was not open very long and just kind of closed down quickly without notice, wish it was open longer, but it was a beautiful area. The door men and bellmen did a fabulous job they were always very busy but looking out for everyone, sincere, kind and informational. Could not compliment them enough especially with the busy street traffic. Restaurant service was exceptional and everyone treated you well and made us feel special. Location was perfect for what we were there to do and close to many great art galleries and shopping.

Great breakfast served by Kathy! We recommend this location highly, have done breakfast here many times and will do so again! Great a**osphere of old New Orleans hospitality and grace, sax/clarinet bass live music, delicious meal, great beignets!

The Staff at Hotel Monteleone is top rated. Very friendly and accommodate your daily needs. If you visit the Restaurant for Breakfast ask for Kathy. She will guide and help you on your food choices if you are unsure how things are prepared. Kathy goes above her duties to make sure your experience for Breakfast is memorable. 👍🏼👏🏼

Lovely ambience at the wonderful roof top pool and bar. Clean pool, plenty of towels and a friendly welcome by Earl catering to guest’s poolside and wonderful poolside drinks by Alberto, both ensuring every guest was made to feel the New Orleans hospitality and holiday vibe at our oasis in the City.

I requested a quiet room but probably got the loudest room in the hotel. The toilet flushing was so loud it’ll wake up your sleeping partner. The doors of the other rooms are so squeaky you can hear them open and close from inside your room. And finally, good luck requesting a late checkout - they are not accommodating.

We loved meeting Earl, the pool operator, who showed us around the hotel and gave us some unforgettable New Orleans history and stories. He’s an amazing ambassador for the hotel and for his city. We loved meeting him and hope to come back and stay soon!
