Absolutely perfect room with amazing views of Delaware river. Great comfort with luxury accommodations, warm & professional staff, and walking distance to everything that beautiful New Hope has to offer. Looking forward to the next visit :)

My wife and I stayed at the Ghost Light Inn to celebrate her birthday, taking advantage of their midweek getaway package (Thursday to Friday). The room was stunning—beautifully appointed with incredibly comfortable linens. Dining at Stella is always a treat, and we loved wandering around New Hope, especially with the convenience of a late checkout. It was a wonderful experience all around. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at Ghost Light Inn. My husband and I did the midweek getaway for our anniversary. Worth every penny! Champagne and fruit waiting for us when we arrived. Early check in. Room was absolutely beautiful with a juliette balcony and the doors pulled completely open giving us a great view of the river. The staff downstairs was so knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They walked us to our elevator. Our welcome note was personalized with where we traveled from, loved that special touch. $150 gift card to Stella included. We had brunch there before we left. So delicious and they even brought us a glass of champagne because they found out it was our anniversary. When checking out I didn't realize I left my necklace behind and the maid had the front desk staff call me right away so I could get it back. I really appreciated that. They made us feel special and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a couples getaway. They really go the extra mile for their guests.

Excellent return visit to the Ghost Light Inn. The rooms are nice size and we had a super view of the river. There is free parking in front of the Inn and the hotel is in a perfect location to visit New Hope and Lambertville. We bike there and they are very good about storing our bikes. The continental breakfast is adequate for our purposes. The only negative is that a very noisy wedding party was staying at the Inn the first night but the Manager handled the issue well and assured us that they were staying at their other property the second night (true). Also, there is no one at the front desk after 10 and until we told them about the noise, the after hours receptionist was not told to call the manager if guests were too loud. That has changed going forward. Well be back again.

What a fabulous place! We had a corner room on the river and a beautiful golden tree outside the other window! Service was great. Decor is brand new and fabulous! All in all highly recommend this hotel and the area in general. LOVE New Hope for antiquing and vibes!!!

The Carriage House and Ghost Light Inn are outstanding. Well appointed, river front and peaceful. Not to mention an OUTSTANDING restaurant on premises. What’s not to love. I highly recommend this place and would definitely go back to stay.

Love the Ghost Light Inn! Great staff, food and accommodations. Super clean and the Inn awesome. Location is right in the heart of New Hope, Pa. My girlfriend and I go there 2-3 times a year. Excellent views of the River....walking distance to all shops, restaurants, etc. Parking included with your stay right outside of the Inn. Highly recommend!!

We stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful stay. The front desk was welcoming and helpful upon or arrival. Someone from the front desk staff came out to our car and assisted us with our bags and showed us to our room. Everyone we encountered during our stay was friendly and helpful. There is a small $20 a day parking fee, however you can come and go as you please. There are only 12 rooms and they are all on the 3rd floor. Our room was spacious, decorated beautifully and faced the Delaware River. The beds were very comfortable and I loved the numerous amounts of pillows on the bed. It felt like I was nestled in a cloud! The inn is located right in the heart of New Hope within walking distance of several restaurants, shops and coffee houses besides Starbucks and Dunkin. You can even take a walk over the bridge into Lambertville, NJ where there are even more restaurants and shops. We are looking forward to coming back next year!

The Pros: The views and the room, itself are really nice. Warm, inviting room decor. Lots of light. Great views of The Delaware River & New Hope. The Cons: Customer service and communication are lacking. This is a five star hotel and the rooms are priced that way. I stayed here for two nights with my wife and the sheets and pillows had a musky, damp smell to them. It made it difficult to sleep. They said the sheets were changed. Tried to sleep the 2nd night - Same issue. There was also a matter of the valet. Our car was valet’d on our first night in. When we woke and went to leave two days later, we were surprised to find that our car had been moved from the lot and relocated two blocks over. It was never communicated that the vehicle would be moved offsite due to a local race. We were then told that “it’s just two blocks away”, and that another guest had also complained about the smell of their sheets as well. Upon checking out, we had to walk all of our luggage (and wedding attire) two blocks away (and take several trips to do so). There was no offer to assist us. I would likely not stay at The Ghost Light again.
