I hope my website answers any questions you might have. If not, please feel free to call me. The house was my childhood home and has been in my family for several generations. My husband and I couldn't bring ourselves to sell it when my father passed away so we decided to completely restore it. The house is like new with everything updated. We lovingly remade or restored all the best the house could be. I believe you will be surprised by the quiet country feel of the neighborhood. The location is perfect for just about everything. - New Braunfels is several minutes away with two rivers and the best waterpark in the country. - Some of the best shopping in the state is less than 30 minutes away. - San Antonio and the riverwalk are 45 minutes to the south and Austin is only 1 hour to the north. - And the Texas hill country is at your back door. Marjorie was an excellent host. She was very flexible with timing if there was not another renter back-to-back. Since she lives next door she was able to quickly resolve a minor maintenance issue before we arrived, and clearly communicated timelines with us while we were traveling.The property is beautiful, and just around the corner from Rockin R on the Guadalupe and downtown Gruene. New Braunfels proper is only ten minutes away.We enjoyed seeing the deer, ponies, and goats, and the house itself was cozy and clean.

Beautiful! We enjoyed our stay very much. Deer came to see us often. Peaceful. Short drive to Gruene Hall/ Gritsmill Restaurant / wineries. Property owner very friendly and welcoming. Loved it!

Great Stay Amazing 2Br one bath house. House looks like maybe 1930s or 40s. But, totally re done and with nice furnishings too. Comes with a goat, 2 Shetlands and lots of deer. Definitely recommend and would stay here again. Thank you hosts.

Great Stay in Deer Heaven Loved our few days in the adorable Rahe House and lovely neighborhood amongst the deer. Oh yeah, and nearby Gruene and New Braunfels were fun too!!
