Naéco Le Pouldu

I booked a stay at your hotel from June 14th to June 16th. My partner and I expected to arrive before 8 PM, but our flight was delayed by over an hour, making this impossible. The day before our arrival, I received an email stating that check-in was not possible after 8 PM. As soon as I arrived at Nantes airport, I emailed the hotel to inform them of the flight delay, but all I received in return was a firm refusal, stating it was impossible to check in after 8 PM. Despite asking if they could leave the key with a trusted person or neighbor, there was no willingness to help or find a solution. I desperately tried calling the hotel, but my calls went unanswered, and the booking was non-refundable. This situation was frustrating and stressful as we had no other booking. I called a friend who was staying close to the hotel, and he informed me that his mother, who was staying at the same hotel for the same event, managed to persuade the receptionist to leave our key with her. If his mother hadn’t been there, we would have had no place to stay for the night. Upon arrival, we found our room unsatisfactory. The pillows were small and uncomfortable, as shown in the attached picture. Additionally, our room wasn’t cleaned, and no service was provided during our stay. The next day, I requested additional pillows but was rudely denied by the receptionist, who showed no willingness to help or find a solution. Additionally, the receptionist objected to me taking breakfast to our room because my partner was unwell, insisting I remove the food from the tray. Throughout our stay, we experienced unprofessional behavior and hostility from the staff. Funny enough I was informed that I could leave the room key on the counter for checkout but how come it was not possible for them to do it for my check in. Showing either laziness or unwillingness to help. This inconsistency in service was unacceptable. Adding to our discontent, the alarm went off before 10 AM on the day of our checkout, with no explanation or apology from the staff. Overall, this stay was highly disappointing, and I recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs. Best, Mehdi Kaddour

The hotel has probably seen better days, but after a recent revamp, it is just a greenwashed horror show. The only "eco" part is the recycled toilett paper. Syntetic carpet even on some walls! Better don't think for how long. Temprature in the room remained around 30°C also during the night, no proper airing possible due to the planning perks. In compensation, the water in the tub was barely warm. If attempted to sleep with windows open: the street underneath is very loud, with motorcycles every night and lorries every morning. The service level was astounding: we left our key inside the room in the late evening, and there was no-one to help: The urgency number didn't answer to the first call, and apparently switched off the telefon altogether after that. We had to sleep on the floor in the lounge. In the morning the personal shouted at us that we dared to use the cushions from the sofa. No excuses, just an order to sleep in the cellar next time -- to keep the lounge neat and tidy. On the bright side: it is very cheap and very close to the beach, which is nice.

Un agréable séjour dans cet établissement près de la mer. L'accueil chaleureux à la réception, la chambre avec une petite vue sur l’océan offrent un réveil plaisant. Cependant, l'espace cuisine commune n'est pas satisfaisant. Situé au sous-sol, il dégage une forte odeur d'humidité, est très sombre (nécessité d'allumer la lumière en plein jour) et n'a pas de chauffage. Bien que la cuisine ne soit pas le but principal du séjour, il est regrettable de mettre en avant un tel espace qui diminue l'expérience globalement positive de l'hôtel. Malgré cela, je compte revenir pour profiter de l'air marin au Pouldu et des restaurants environnants qui sont tous accessibles et de qualité.

Ça fait plusieurs jours que nous tentons de laisser un avis sur Google sans y parvenir . C’est notre seconde escapade dans ce chouette hôtel trouvé par hasard. Il nous a charmés dès la premiere fois (début mars) grâce à l’accueil adorable que nous avons reçus et on est revenus avec joie. Le cadre est superbe et l'emplacement au top - avec la mer à deux pas. Le petit-déjeuner est varié à souhait : viennoiseries, pancakes, yaourts, compotes, céréales, fromages ( le brie est divin), en passant par le jambon et les pains divers, sans oublier une pâte à tartiner à tomber par terre et en plus comme nous étions peu nombreux, nous avons été servis à table pour les réapprovisionnements. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec vue sur la mer. Il y a du savon solide qui sent bon et mousse bien. Juste deux petits bémols : les fenêtres de la chambre 11 laissent passer l'eau les jours de pluie et le parquet est du coup gondolé. Nous l’avons signalé et nous avons tout de suite eu la proposition de changer de chambre mais on a opté pour une serviette au sol pour éviter le déménagement. Et on a noté le même souci avec les fenêtres du coin petit-déj. Il serait top de prévoir des réparations pour que tout soit nickel.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe der Durchgangsstraße auf dem Weg zum Strand. Wenn man dort surfen möchte oder ähnliches ist es gut gelegen. Das Hotel verfügt über einen eigenen Parkplatz auf der anderen Straßenseite. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber modern gestaltet und ausreichend geräumig. Alles war sauber und funktionierte. Das wifi war ok und genug Steckdosen waren vorhanden. Das Frühstück wird im Eingangsbereich serviert und ist für französische Verhältnisse gut.

Bien placé, proche de la plage des surfeurs, un parking gratuit en face de l'hôtel. Accueil sympathique et chaleureux. Chambre lumineuse avec, pour certaines, une petite vue mer. Petit déjeuner copieux réapprovisionné régulièrement. Ensemble du personnel disponible et agréable. Une bonne adresse de vacances décontracté.
