Hotel Toboso Chaparil

Breakfast is decent, continental style but with bacon and eggs, good selection of jams etc. Pool on the roof is more of a plunge pool and is not as big as it looks on the website/brochure. Service was excellent and big thanks to Wolfgang for helping us out.

Very nice hotel, clean and neat room and bathroom. Unfortunately, a view from my room wasn't satisfying, as I could online see a wall of the other side of the building, so the room was rather dark. Very good breakfast with variety options to choose from, no lokal food though. Definitely, value for money hotel, for short stays.

Hotel con excelente ubicación, un poco complicado el aparcamiento en la zona. Trato inmejorable, se me olvidó una bolsa en la habitación y lo gestionaron perfectamente para recuperarla. Recomendable

Booked here by mistake as I thought It was the one on Plaza cavana. Was so glad we did. It was in a quiet location. Especially if you book a room with balcony at the back. Great views. Spotless. Lovely breakfast. Very friendly staff who were very helpful. Easy to get to main town 5 -10 minutes and also good restaurants nearby. Lovely beach just at the end of the road. Roof top pool adequate if you just like a dip to cool off but not if you want a proper swim. Would say its just for adults really. Had a fab stay , loved Nerja and also visited Malaga and Frigliana

I called your hotel this evening from my cell phone in Dublin to make inquiries for to booked a taxi from Malaga Airport To your Hotel I spoken to a very friendly and knowledgeable young lady called Anna Anna was so helpful to me and spoken good English I will be staying in the hotel on a business week from 19th May so looking forward to my stay. Really dispointing stay. The AC was either not working of turned off and it was pretty warm in the room. They came to fix the controller the 2nd day, but ended up telling us it really didnt matter, as the AC was turned off ! Terrible WIFI, like China in the 90's ! And we have a really hard time beliving that the pool was heated, it was too cold tp get in and we saw noone daring to do so for the 5 days we where there. We can not recommend Toboso at all

Well yet another fabulous stay in hotel too so chaparil it was just lovely to be back. Everyone is so friendly hotel is spotless breakfast great our room was lovely with such a nice view thankyou for looking after us and all your hard work making this hotel what it is. Wolfgang the weather is shocking here in England snow and ice so already making plans to visit again.

Firstly, I had booked this hotel and only afterwards realised that the main entertainment area, Plaza Tutti Frutti is located on the next street. However, my fears were unwarranted as ,while it is on the next street, the Plaza is on a side street at the end of it and no noise can be heard from it at the hotel. Now to review of hotel. It is very clean, the staff whether reception, security guards, cleaners and breakfast staff were very friendly, approachable and always glad to help. Breakfast is included and the food was top drawer quality. It was a buffet selection of English breakfast items, Spanish breakfast items, various juices, cereals, bread where you toast and add a selection of toppings and various cakes. As to the room, there are two types, interior and exterior. I was in an interior one and the window view was a wall. The room had a lot of space for storing clothes and a safe where you didn't need to pay for as you do in other hotels. There was also a TV that had a lot of channels in various languages including English. The bathroom was excellent with plenty of space and a shower which again was spacious. I had said the room I stayed in had only a wall as a window view. On top of the roof of the hotel has a pool and sunbeds. I didn't use it but had only went up to look at it. It didn't have a bar but had plenty of beds and if you are into that sort of thing, it will more than compensate for the room window view if you take an interior room. The hotel is in a great location where it is about a ten minute walk from the beach and another ten minute walk from the town square where all the restaurants and bars are located. It is a great hotel in a great hotel location has perfect for a stay in Nerja.
