What a lovely complex and super close to the centre of Nelson, making walking to and from the property a breeze. We came over from Blenheim for 1 night to enjoy a special occasion and stayed in a poolside apartment upstairs which was very well appointed, had a super comfortable bed, was warm & light, with a balcony overlooking the pool which was perfectly placed for the sun and sitting outside to enjoy the evening. The sliding doors to the balcony meant we had a lovely breeze in the afternoon (the day was around 29deg!) and we loved the fact there was also a large picture window to the left of the room which let in lots of light making the apartment more spacious and open. The small kitchen had everything one needs, and the bathroom was lovely with all the extra touches such as the spa shower, the demisting mirror, gorgeous fluffy towels and it was great to see the 'Six For Good' handwash, lotion Dispensers etc (which are simply divine AND are made by Kiwi's for Kiwi’s supporting our Kiwi kids). Whilst we did not need the washing machine & dryer, great to see them available. I forgot my swimmers which was a shame because the pool is heated and was being used regularly by guests with really nice outdoor furniture by lying by the poolside. We also booked a carpark which was worth it to secure a space for the stay (otherwise first in first serve). Excellent customer service from Sascha and Denise who were both very welcoming and accommodating. Overall, we had a lovely stay, and the complex is very well looked after and sparkling clean,which shows the owners/managers care about quality for their guests + all the staff had smiles on their faces. We only wished we stayed another night but on our next trip over to Nelson, we will definitely book again. Highly recommend.

La cucina era molto piccola per una camera da letto e una delle camere era molto piccola - nemmeno abbastanza spazio per aprire le valigie. Era freddo e abbiamo scoperto che il cavo elettrico della camera più piccola non era collegato. Per toccarlo non c'era nemmeno un outlet di energia nella stanza. Andato a chiamare la ricezione, ma il telefono non era collegato al punto telefonico nemmeno. Ho detto che nessuno può aggiungere un punto di alimentazione nella stanza ora e hanno detto che possiamo darvi un filo di estensione e provare a trovare un riscaldamento aggiuntivo!!! Viaggiavamo con genitori e bambini piccoli - il cordone di estensione non era una soluzione ideale. Dove andavamo a dormire con tutta la famiglia??? Finalmente per risolvere la questione che ci hanno offerto 3 camere separate al piano di sopra, almeno lavoravano al riscaldamento. La mattina dopo, mentre cercavamo di riscaldare qualche cibo, abbiamo trovato la microonde in una delle camere non era collegata e non c'era nessuna via d'uscita per esso! Spero che l'hotel investa in assicurarsi che i loro apparecchi funzionano e hanno i punti d'uscita per collegarli. E fornire una migliore formazione al personale in modo che non si assumano la responsabilità/spostano la colpa l’uno sull’altro (ricezione mettendola in custodia a casa e viceversa).

Grande posizione, molto pulito e delizioso attrezzato personale molto amichevole e professionale, anche bello vedere è una grande schermata TV molto raramente vista in altri luoghi che abbiamo soggiornato Specialmente guardando un gioco di rugby in diretta( tutti i neri battono le scatole) Molto comodi letti grandi di lana e cuscini abbiamo soggiornato in una camera doppia con spa e 2 letti matrimoniali Molto raccomandato e ad un grande tasso Ci aspettiamo di rimanere qui di nuovo.

This is a really nice hostel. We stayed in a private room but used the kitchen, laundry and dining area. Enjoyed the chocolate pudding. The description of the Backpackers is very honest. We could hear a bit of noise from the kitchen which was near our room but is was just a gentle chatter or clatter. It didn't disturb us and I actually don't mind mild background noise. Like living somewhere with other people moving about. Was quiet late at night. Laundry charge was quite modest and less than another Hostel entity charged when I stayed there in 2019. There was some wear and tear such as a leaky tap in the kitchen, but very clean. Stayed 3 nights and would stay again. They had a small bus so they might pick up people by arrangement but I am not sure as we had use of a car.

Il servizio è eccellente, da prenotazione a soggiorno.Abbiamo un gruppo di famiglia di sette adulti e Robyn organizzava due lati per lati che si adattavano perfettamente alla nostra situazione. Tutto il personale amministrativo è molto amichevole e utile. Le unità erano molto pulite e ben progettate per le nostre esigenze. Una supermercata lungo la strada e una passeggiata di dieci minuti in città era una grande posizione. Molto consigliata e sicuramente rimarrebbe.

Very friendly staff. I loved the marina being right there, and the fact that it is accessible to the public. Will come again.

Great location, Staff were lovely, place was dated but tidy. Dinner Restaurant is still closed due to covid. The main reason for the down review is I had booked with a voucher for the first night that included breakfast. I asked for 2 more nights and expected breakfast. When I checked in, I validated it was but when we checked out was told not the case so we paid $69 (2 pax) per day for an avg breakfast that had we known we would have gone elsewhere and paid less. Mgr on duty would not budge or even apologise. Disappointed as I would have rated much higher
