Room are very dirty. Badsheet , towel ,napkin ,pillowcover are also very dirty and with bed smell. Fan is also not proper And bathroom is very dirty and fitting is also not good. Main thing they are not listening this kind of resoert that have nice location but service is very poor.

Beautiful resort on the Vembanad Lake. Exquisite traditional houses with tile roofs and elegantly carved architectural designs. The staff is generous and accommodating. Rooms are clean and well appointed. The landscaping is beautiful. Activities include a games room, pool and hiring a piloted boat. Excellent, great for young couples.

Excellent ambience, amazing food, great hospitality, all the staff were very cooperative and friendly. Washroom is nature friendly, but needs renovation anf proper maintenance. Overall a very memorabie stay, worth for the amount we paid.

Great service by Latha and team at the restaurant. We were travelling with our little 1 year old. The whole team was accomodating. Massage team was great too. Loved the house boat experience and the host was great. The food was good. Rooms were clean Look forward to visiting again. Thanks.

The resort location is awesome, just on the banks of the lake. Courteous & friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable & well maintained. The buffet food spread needs to be improvised, food quality also needs to be improved. The ayurvedic spa treatment is an awesome experience with free pre-consulatation by an certified doctor. Their own private Boat House day cruise experience is very good but a little over priced. Overall, Punnamada Resort is a good destination to stay in Alleppey/ Allaphuza. Recommendation rating : 3.5 of 5.

The resprt was clean place. It was worth visiting. The food was the best. The staffs were very cooperative and helpful. Had a great time. A place one can stay peacefully. The lake view was so awesome. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a huge variety of options! Staffs made us feel very comfort . The room decor was perfect as needed. Tried speed boat had great experience. In short a must visit place.

We stayed a few weeks ago in pleasant surroundings of this lakeside hotel. Good food, pool and rooms at a reasonable price. The best thing was the lake traditional boat which we hired for 4 nights with driver, cook and all food. It also included some excursions. We explored the lake and backwater canals. Normally accommodation for 2 people but we had 4 with some put me up beds. Viewing gallery on top to watch the world go by. We finished with a night back in the hotel before departing.

The tranquility of the resort is palpable, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking peace and quiet. The highlight of our stay was a day spent on a private boat tour on local backwaters. The kids loved the pool and food was out of this world yummy. Punnamada Resort’s commitment to eco-friendliness and the preservation of Kerala’s rich heritage is commendable. In essence, Punnamada Resort is not just a place to stay; it’s an experience that captures the essence of Kerala’s magical backwaters and leaves you with memories that linger long after your visit.

Quiet, not overcrowded, good value for $ for that area. Very nice heritage style buildings. Well laid out. Empty pool. May be different in season. By midrange Indian standards property is well maintained (which is often not the case) and cared for. Staff were unassuming, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
