Last time we were in a different hotel, so thought we’d try this new one, Hotel Praia. In a good location, walking distance to the bus station and a couple of blocks to the beach and the touristy restaurants and shops along the waterfront. Breakfast was included and generally, it was fine. Great Nespresso coffee machine! Eggs were sweet; maybe someone put sugar in them? Sausages and bacon were not to our liking, but we appreciated the pastries, cereal, fresh fruit and yogurts. Staff at front desk were pleasant and helpful, but anytime we needed something, there was only one person working, so always had to wait. Same happened at breakfast in that there was not enough staff for all the people trying to eat. But, everyone was working hard and were very nice. New, light and bright, big rooms. Safe not working, very spare with really no decoration and minimalist white furniture, no hooks in bathroom, no place to hang towels and stuff. Wi Fi works okay, terrible water pressure, how about putting in some hooks and shelving. Also, places to plug in devices were needed. We don’t watch tv in a hotel, but this was the smallest tv we’d ever seen; if it was 15 inches, I’d be surprised! The hotel room was unfortunately not clean when we checked in and never vacuumed during our stay. We walked in the room in white socks and they were filthy, and lots of stuff stuck to them!

Moderno, spazioso, molto bel bar e ristorante con vista sulla città e sull'oceano. Situato su una collina sopra la città ma non a passeggiata dalla città, quindi bisogno di noleggio auto o taxi. Molto tranquillo. Bella camera. Cibo al ristorante in loco era buono.Colazione fornita. Solo due notti, ma poteva ottenere lavanderia e consegnate prima di partire in tempo utile.

In generale, era un buon soggiorno. La posizione è eccellente proprio sotto la spiaggia. Il personale era molto bello. La stanza era sul lato piccolo ma aveva un balcone con vista sul funiculare. Il letto era piccolo e poteva essere più comodo. Un piccolo frigorifero nella stanza sarebbe un miglioramento. Il bagno moderno era piccolo ma efficiente. Ci era un bagno, ma solo una doccia a mano. Il colazione era buona e serviva sul piano superiore dell'hotel con una vista davvero bella di Nazarena. L'hotel spiega dove parcheggiare in strada. Se non trovi un posto, hanno un garage ma si prega di prepararsi, è un po'di cammino su una collina. L'hotel dispone di un posto davanti dove si può trascinare e scaricare/prendere il bagaglio dopo l'entrata/uscita, in modo che non si debba bloccarlo attraverso le strade.

We booked hotel and spa for a weekend for 2. The positive points: The suite was nice with a good view, the lady managing the spa was friendly and helpful. The negatives: housekeeping below standard, guests expected to fetch bath robes and towels at the reception at the other end of the hotel, although the women working there were mainly chatting with eachother. Access to the spa via a public road. Mold everywhere in the spa. After turn down of the room we had to crawl under the bed to retrieve the plastic sandals for the spa that were carelessly pushed below. Breakfast was about OK (eggs from powder) if someone would care to refill empty containers…. All that shows a profound lack of management. We might enjoy the chocolat treatment in the spa again, but certainly without the hotel.

Recentemente ristrutturato, le stanze sanno di fresco e pulito, a partire dalle tende e dalla coperta, bianche e linde! La nostra camera, deliziosa nella sua semplicità, disponeva di grandi finestre panoramiche da cui si vedeva la spiaggia e la piazza. Abbiamo notato con piacere il rispetto delle norme anticovid. A disposizione una cucina e una terrazza panoramica (che fu ge anche da lavanderia) con solarium e jacuzzi. La colazione, servita in un bar adiacente, è buona e si compone di prodotti dolci e salati. Receptio aperta ad orari, ma viene fornito un numero di telefono da contattare in caso di necessità. Noi siamo stati molto bene, grazie!
