Hotel Anatoli I'm horrible for writing reviews because I'm such a procrastinator but I loved Anatoli Hotel so much and they were so amazing, I HAD to sit down and write one. I've been to Greece several times but this was my first time in Naxos. I am so amazingly glad I chose this hotel. The staff are the loveliest people I met while on my trip. They treat you like family. Upon check-in, I was welcomed with a piece of cake and a refreshing drink. My room was not huge but had a convenient balcony, beautiful furnishings and this hotel was the only one I stayed in that let me log into my own streaming apps, like Netflix or Prime, on the TV. The bathroom was beautiful, if small, but I was travelling alone so it was okay. As a couple, it would have been fine as well, but it's definitely not a big space. The shower was amazing and there was a rain shower and hand held. Super convenient after a beach day. Also, the shower had a door. If you've been to Greece, you know it's rare to find a fully enclosed shower! Kettle and nescafes (refilled daily) as well as a fridge made my room perfect for my stay. Oh, and did I mention a drying rack on the balcony? Great for bathing suits or small washed items. The hotel was impeccably clean and quiet and had a well sized pool and outside terrace area. There was also a garden area as well, though I didn't take advantage of it. The jacuzzi is located in a different part of the hotel but I didn't use it. There was also a sauna on the lower levels if you're someone who likes that. But the breakfast. The breakfast was AMAZING. A greek yogurt bar with nearly a dozen toppings, a nescafe machine, cheese, meat, eggs, toast. I would stay here again strictly for the breakfast. The cheese was fresh, the juice was tart and the selection of bread and carbs was awesome. On my last day, they even opened a little early when I came to check out at 7:45 (breakfast is 8-10). Like, for real, this was maybe the best breakfast I had all trip and if it wasn't THE best, it's a SUPER close second. The hotel is located a short walk from Naxos Chora, maybe 10 minutes. It's about 20 minutes to the bus depot, 25 minutes to the Portara (take in a sunset, it's stunning!) There is several cafes and restaurants along the walk to town, with a decent market about 3 minutes from.the hotel. If you have a long stay planned, there is a supermarket about 10 minutes walk away but I never got to go there as it was closed for the holiday. I can't rave enough about this hotel. I loved it so much and I will be recommending it to every person who mentions they are heading to Naxos from now until forever. By far, the best accommodations of my entire month in Greece. Also, I should mention, I left my headphones behind when I checked out and Stavros forwarded them to me in Athens (I got them Stavros, you're absolutely a gem!). I was relieved to get them back and he was so nice to help me with that. Anyways, yeah, stay here! You won't regret it.
