We stayed for a week in August 2024 as a young family (4 yr old and an 7 month old baby). Everything about our time there was incredible!! We felt like we never had to leave the property and could just kick back and relax. The villas were spacious, clean, well appointed, and best of all private! The views from the patio were a 10/10 and we enjoyed sitting and having our coffee in the morning or glass of wine at night. The Asado restaurant was amazing with incredible food and well priced. The wine shop had a ton of different wines to try and the price for value was extremely reasonable! Kids club was a lot of fun and the pool was far more family friendly than I was expecting. Overall, we didn’t want to leave and will recommend this to everyone we know who loves to travel!

Unique and beautiful place to relax and enjoy amazing views wonderful food and a fantastic staff. Traveled with my wife and stayed five nights in a two-bedroom villa that was perfectly equipped inside and out. We had dinner at Asado three nights and breakfast one day and we enjoyed the selection and delicious food. I want to thank Cristian and Juliet our server's always top notch. The spa was fantastic and very clean. Our therapist Amber and Amiely were awesome both with technique and overall interaction. Walking on the property or sitting at the pool lounging just surrounded by beauty made us want to abandon day trips and stay on the property. The location provides easy access to main routes, so we did road trips to Sete, Toulouse and Carcassonne. The only issue was walking on the property from the parking area to the unit or main building the incline is very steep and covered in gravel. My wife went to dinner with a shoe bag and changed into her heels before dinner. We will return very soon, can't wait!!

We stayed for 5 nights at the end of August and had a wonderful experience. The facilities were very clean and well maintained, and the the service was welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. The on site restaurant Asado was very good with beautiful views of the region. The hotel is also well located for day trips in the area. Highly recommend.

We have stayed at their sister chateau before. Our 3 bed villa with pool which was very nice, with a lovely view. We did have to ask for a few more bits and bobs for the kitchen eg another chopping board, some more glases etc but you can get by and the staff were so helpful. The bar even gave us some ice and Tabasco one evening to take back to the villa! We ordered the breakfast basket for our first morning which was lovely and we ate in the restaurant on our first night too which was ok. The staff were very very good from the restaurant, to the spa, the bar etc. The bar menu on the terrace was lovely so we did that one evening and Frederic the manager is so so helpful and lovely to chat to. We had a great week.

The villas are very luxurious and super comfortable with great views. The bars and restaurants sadly let the resort down with a lack of enough staff with limited experience. The main pool claims it’s heated however is still quite cold.

Chateau Capitoul is in a wonderful location in the middle of a vineyard and close to the beaches. We were a large family group of 17 with 10 children under 10. We had 3 villas and we all loved the holiday. The staff at the chateau can’t do enough for you. From Kids Club to wine tasting to the pools to the restaurants to bike rides, you may never leave the chateau. But you must as the local beaches and restaurants are so good and the area has so much to offer. You will need a car but no worries you can fill it up with Chateau Capitoul wine for your return home.

Chateau Capitoul is absolutely glorious! We stayed in a beautiful self-catering villa that was truly top-notch, it had everything we needed, and the sea views were absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved using the spa, taking yoga classes, and biking around the area. Cycling to Gruissan was a real treat, thanks to the fantastic cycle tracks that meant we didn’t need to go on the roads at all. The pool area was perfect, with ample sunbeds/umbrellas and a bar, it never felt crowded, which was a big plus. The villa's location made it easy for us to take day trips—we visited Narbonne, where we found one of the best food markets in France, enjoyed some great meals in Beziers, and explored Fontfroide Abbey, which was a personal highlight for me. We also spent time on several lovely local beaches. We'll definitely be back!

Great villa! Great views and great restaurant. Only thing they can improve is the kitchen wares orr lack of them. 1 cuttingboard, 0 frying pan turner etc. We had to go and buy lots of basic kitchen wares. A trip to e.g. IKEA would do the trick. At least for butiful villa 8!
