The brick steps lead to a landing that holds two white rocking chairs, and French doors open to a large living room filled with air, light, and comfort. Antique writing desks allow you to stack your mail and books or finish a day's work. The living room has an oversized comfortable sofa, side chairs, and a coffee table across from a large mounted television. The full kitchen is on the left side of the house, with a half wall between the living room and table for six. The porch seats six and has two umbrellas. **Construction has been going on across the street from us for the past two seasons. I wondered, 'What to do when living near a construction site?'
