415 Marine Parade

We were booked in by our tour agent. Lovely welcome from Esther and Tom. Beautiful room with a view over the bay. We were invited by them for a glass of wine on their patio. The rooms were well decorated and the bathroom was well done. The real gem was Esther’s home made goodies. All the jams, cakes, cookies and preserved fruits were made by her. Breakfast was wonderful and, again, home made muffins and scones were offered. Short walk into town, so no need to drive. Very happy with our stay there.

Immerse yourself in the impeccably renovated and lovingly restored period house on Marine Parade. Esther and Tom have created a sublimely welcoming home away from home bed and breakfast where no stone was left unturned. From the fine bed and bath linens to the towel warmer to the home made curated daily tea cakes and banquet style breakfasts. You will want for nothing whilst being transferred back to a more genteel time of relaxing conversation with your hosts and other guests and relish in the time honored and valued traditions of fine living of a bygone era. The nightly evening turn down service w/chocolates accompanied by the silver tray of port wine was priceless. And all this a mere stones throw from the most exquisite historically preserved Deco town I can recall peppered w/wonderful restaurant choices. A most memorable visit!

A more welcoming luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation in Napier will not be found anywhere in my opinion. Our bedroom was spacious, the mattresses comfortable and breakfasts delicious. Esther and Tom generously catered for all our requirements plus extra delights. I cannot recommend this BabdB enough. Thank you. Annie and Trace

We loved our stay here, the couple that run the lodge are very hospitable, friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautifully appointed and the hosts add lovely touches during your stay. Invited for wine or beer with the hosts and other guests in the garden at 17.30 along with complimentary goodies coffee and soft drinks at any time. Breakfast was delightful including choice of home made jams. Esther even helped booking dinner reservations to make sure we were all fed. No problem recommending 415 Marine Parade

Quite the best BandB we’ve ever been to. Fantastic welcome, comfortable space, great breakfast and a host and hostess who go out of their way to make everyone happy and get on together. A real home from home in Napier, home baking, home comforts with wine and a genuine smile! Thanks for a wonderful stay.
