Hotel a 3 stelle a Napier

Le Bluewater Hotel à Napier est idéalement situé dans le quartier animé du port intérieur, offrant des vues imprenables sur la marina. Les chambres sont équipées d’une télévision à écran plat et d’une kitchenette, et l’hôtel propose une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite.  Nous avons apprécié particulièrement l’emplacement de l’hôtel, notant sa proximité avec des attractions locales et la possibilité de se promener le long de l’eau. Nous avons séjourné à l’hôtel Bluewater à Napier et avons été agréablement surpris par la propreté et le bon état général des lieux. Les chambres étaient bien entretenues, propres et offraient tout le nécessaire pour un séjour confortable.

We booked one night here on a whistle stop trip through Napier, it did exactly what we needed. The check in was good and it was very nice speaking to the friendly man at the front desk, he made us feel very welcome. The units are at the back of the pub and don't look that great from the outside, but are exceptionally clean. Our room did feel a bit tired, but the bathroom was on the newer side and our AC unit worked well. I've dropped some points from the rating due to: open style shower tends to make everything in bathroom wet; and the kettle plug couldn't reach any plug point in the kitchen - we were therefore plugging it in on the floor. All in all a good place to stay, unfortunately the pub and restaurant were closed on our stay (just after NYE) otherwise I could imagine that would make this an even better place to stay.

Really surprised by the recent negative reviews for this motel, as we had a good experience, albeit we only stayed for one night so didn't have long to appreciate it and didn't need to use the kitchenette. We arrived at 1215 and were very grateful to find that our 1st floor ocean front room with spa bath was available, well before the stipulated check in time, as we were booked to be picked up by the Grape Escapes Vineyard Tour 15 mins later and had anticipated only being able to leave the car there. When we got back to the motel early evening we used the washer and dryer facilities and also enjoyed the lovely spa bath at the back of the room which felt like a real treat. The room itself was nicely decorated and spacious. We then headed out for dinner and managed to get a late table at the very nice Hunger Monger restaurant, which is about 15mins walk into the town. We walked into town again first thing in the morning and enjoyed breakfast at the Albion Canteen and had a quick look around town at the art deco buildings. With what little time we had we enjoyed the ocean view from the hotel. The beach is stony so not really one to sit on. The hotel has its own car park via a driveway that goes through to the back, and is also accessible from the parallel road behind. The roads are very quiet at night so no issues there. We enjoyed our short but sweet stay and would be happy to recommend the hotel, although as it was part of a month's touring package I don't know what the rate was that we paid.

Our check-in was delayed in the reception - not fault of the adm in lady, but.... it was dissappointing considering we had plans that afternoon - and that wait time chewed into what we had hoped to have time to do. The room (ground floor with 'ocean' view) was lovely, the bed super comfy, the view to the inner waterway (not ocean) was good enough. Bathroom was a good size but the shower pressure was very poor. Good to get 4 towels even though we didn't use all of them. Kitchenette was small but functional for our one night needs. The night was long - party time for the guests close by on their balcony - they talked really loud right till 2 or 3 in the morning. No fault of the hotel, but it would have been nice to have had a phone number to ring to get someone to tell them to shut up! A long sleepless night. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant so can't comment on that.

Il mio collega e io abbiamo bisogno di un alloggio urgente a Napier per sostenere un cliente. L’Albatross aveva un’unità di camera gemella che si adattava alle nostre esigenze durante la parte occupata della stagione estiva nella baia di Hawke. La stanza era fresca, pulita e accogliente. La doccia era buona con buona pressione. Ci sarebbe certamente rimasto al Albatross. L'hotel BayView, proprio in fondo alla strada, era perfetto per un passo per un pasto molto bello e una vasta selezione di birre di artigianato sia locali che nazionali. Un grande bar giardino per godere di una bella serata estiva, o sono sicuro che un incendio si spegne nei mesi più freddi.

Not too impressed with this place. The lobby is so small that when a large group arrives, as we did, we couldn't all get in the door with our lugguge. Even when you're on your own, the two lifts are so close to the front door, that the automatic doors keep opening & closing whilst you wait. Ridiculous. The Dining Room only has one small toaster for the whole of breakfast service, resulting in long queues & long waits. My room was large & comfortable, but the bathroom tiny. The location of the hotel is good, with many rooms having a sea-view (through the Nordic pines) and it's close to downtown with its pubs & bars. OK for one night.

This is the perfect place to stay to complete your Art Deco experience in Napier. The hotel has been thoughtfully updated to 21st century standards without losing any of its period charm. We stayed in a Queen Room which was compact but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Comfortable bed,good pillows and fresh linen. Tea and coffee making facilities. Mugs and pretty blue tea cups in keeping with the era. Iron and Ironing board. The bathroom was tight but had good lighting for makeup application and good water pressure. Ate at the restaurant twice and were happy with our meals. 10% discount as we were hotel guests. Attentive service from our wait staff. Parking is offsite but staff at reception were more than happy to store our suitcases in the luggage room while we collected our car. Parking $15:00 per night. No issues at check in or checkout. Central location. Would recommend.

La mia suite alla vista del porto era proprio quello che mi serviva. Con una bella vista e una camera molto ragionevole, mi sento ora rinfrescata. Il bagno spa e la doccia ad alta pressione erano grandi. La camera è dotata di TV Sky e mobili per il balcone. Quando sono arrivato, la stanza era senza spot; mentre l’edificio era invecchiato, ho visto due imprenditori dipinti oggi, quindi mi sento come il proprietario stia lavorando per aggiornare e migliorare questo che è bello vedere. Interessante, ho scelto questo motel perché la stanza era un grande prezzo. Di solito mi aspetto di vedere qualcosa di sbagliato quando succede, ma sono stato piacevolmente sorpreso. Grazie per il visibilità di Harbour per un splendido soggiorno!
