The Cottages of Napa Valley

If we had known how wonderful this place was we would have stayed longer! This was tip-top lodging from check-in to check out! We were greeted by Mike, the owner, who gave us a tour of the property before bringing us to our cottage and pointing out the amenities. Every attention to comfort and enjoyment has gone into this property. Our cottage was spacious and comfortable. Details such as interesting decorative touches, plentiful hooks in the bedroom and bathroom, the gorgeous soaker tub, and the outdoor seating areas contributed to this 5-star rating. If I ever return to Napa I will be sure to stay for longer than 2 nights! Thanks to Mike for his friendliness and eagerness to make sure we had a great stay.

We stayed 6 nights here for an anniversary trip. It topped off a fantastic trip to wine country. Mike is a gracious and accommodating host. The cottages lack nothing. Everything is high end, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast items delivered daily and complimentary snacks and a chilled bottle of wine in the room. A hotel nickel and dimes you for everything that is included here. The cottages are quiet, and we loved using the fire pit (or two) right outside our door with comfy chairs and a good spot to read our books. Mike has good recommendations for anything you may want to do. We did not use the e-bikes provided, but the bike trail is right across the street. Very easy access from here to drive south to Napa or over to Sonoma, or north to Youtsville or St. Helena. One tip for something to avoid…..don’t take Trinity Lane over the mountain going east west even if the GPS recommends it. It is white knuckle driving. I highly recommend the Cottages of Napa.

Stayed at The Cottages mid March, 2025 with my wife and our oldest, who is 27, and we had an exceptional experience. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the unit we stayed in was everything we wanted, plus. Very comfortable for the 3 of us, with lots of space and great amenities. The morning pastries were delicious and a special treat. The purpose of our stay was to visit select wineries, and The Cottages was a great location for us. Most importantly to me the setting was quite relaxing, and while at the Cottages we felt like we were removed from the hustle and bustle of the Valley. I initially had some concern that noise from the highway might be a problem, but that was not an issue. Mike, the owner, went out of his way to meet us, and we had a great visit one evening by the fire pit getting to know one another. When you visit, be sure to check out the game room. I will stay at The Cottages again when the opportunity arises, and would not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends.

Fabulous stay in Napa! Mike is a warm host and his enthusiasm is contagious. We made use of the amenities, riding the available E-bikes twice. Once into the town of Napa and once to Yountville and beyond. Cottage 5 is highly recommended as it is in the back corner away from the highway and with a good sized private outdoor area. The outdoor stoves are loaded with firewood and easy to fire up, and I highly recommend the ‘smores kit. We opted for this place over a swanky hotel in town and couldn’t be happier with our decision.

The entire experience was delightful. The cottages are charming and stocked with everything you would need or want in a home away from home. Mike is a gracious host! The housekeepers were sweet and thorough. Loved the Bouchon treats. We will definitely return!

I stayed in the beautiful Cottages of Napa Valley, where every comfort is offered... a spacious room, heated bathroom floor, huge king bed, convenient kitchenette, parking right outside the door. The room was lovely and quiet, and the grounds have gorgeous natural landscaping. It was a great get-away in the Wine Country, and less pricy than most... cheers!
