Great food, cozy restaurant with a fireplace and kitty cat. The hotel rooms are beautiful with all amenities and wonderful price point. Would definitely stay and dine at Le Rustic again. Staff is also excellent. Ready to help in any way possible. The gift shop was also great, I bought clothes and a souvenir there, all quality and not over priced.

We were a group of 8 for a holiday in Nanyuki. For starters, we ordered the specials - spicy lentil soup, piri piri halloumi with red onion marmalade and the feta stuffed falafel which are fresh and delicious. For the mains, got a lot of items from Caesar chicken salad, grilled snapper, pizzas, chicken pesto spaghetti and spicy zucchini pasta. Have to say it was all top notch and comparable to the best places in Nairobi. This was complements by a beautiful garden seating, not to forget mentioning a tastefully done indoor seating. Service was great too. Highly recommended if you are in Nanyuki !

This is, without a doubt, the worst restaurant I’ve ever had the misfortune of visiting. The food was absolutely disgusting and reeked of chemicals—so much so that the waiters admitted it! Their response wasn’t to fix the issue but to be outright rude and dismissive. To add to the absurdity, the owner refused to taste the food himself, which is not just unprofessional but highly suspicious. What kind of restaurant owner doesn’t care about the quality of their food? As if the horrendous food and service weren’t bad enough, they had the audacity to demand full payment for food that was clearly unsafe to eat. This is unacceptable and speaks volumes about their complete lack of ethics and customer care. It’s clear this establishment isn’t compliant with multiple regulations—something that should concern anyone thinking of eating here. They are a danger to public health and shouldn’t even be allowed to operate. Save your time, money, and health by staying far, far away from this disaster of a restaurant.

I had the luck to live just round the corner from Le Rustique for two years. We used the restaurant and pool facilities on a regular basis and were never disappointed. Food always great quality, delicious wine and cocktails and the staff are absolutely wonderful. We then stayed for two nights before we moved and it was a perfect end to our time in Kenya, in our favourite place. The rooms were lovely and clean. Nice bright bathrooms with super nice showers and very comfortable beds. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Le Rustique. It is such a lovely warm and welcoming place and we miss everyone very much!

This property is nothing like the description or photos on *******. When challenged at check in the properties management stated that the descriptions were those of ******* not of their own!!
This is a One Star property charging Four Star prices probably due to local demand!
The rooms smelt musty and were not attractive at all. There was no separate seating area or dining area in the rooms as described.
This is not a property that I would recommend to an international tourist. We turned around and walked straight out! I would rather have driven back to Nairobi than stay there.

My friends and I stayed in Nanyuki but went to Le Rustique often for breakfast or dinner. The food is always excellent, prices are affordable, and the staff are super friendly. We sometimes went on a weekend day to eat/drink and use the pool which is great. There is also a spa there - bonus! Have not stayed overnight here however wouldn't hesitate to in the future. Love the place!

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Le Rustique while we were visiting Nanyuki. What a gem of a hotel! The staff were friendly and always accommodating. The rooms were quaint. Food was always good. We enjoyed breakfast ever morning and had a dinner. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
