Floral Hotel·the old gate East of Nanjing Confucius Temple

The Floral Hotel in Nanjing is SIMPLY THE BEST. First, the female front desk staff are simply wonderful. They are so kind and welcoming. They helped my son and I to book tickets for a special dance performance of Cao Yu's Thunderstorm - a real treat for visitors! The traditional breakfasts served each morning were also tasty and a good start to the mornings. Second, the owner is also exceptional - he went out of his way to take us to the train station early one morning. Third, the location is outstanding - walking distance to Laomendong. There is not a better location in Nanjing as it is so convenient and yet lively. So many places to explore in terms of places to eat and sites to see (walking distance to the Confucius Temple). Fourth, both the hotel itself and its setting in a new development next to Laomendong is very relaxing, peaceful and tastefully decorated in traditional Chinese style. Nanjing itself is such an important city with so many layers of history and tradition. It is not to be missed. All together, our stay at the Floral Hotel is memorably wonderful and we cannot thank the staff enough for making it so! We hope to return again.

The service staff is very friendly, attentive and takes care of the our luggages responsibly. We like the breakfast too. Although it is simple, the kitchen staff prepares it like home cooked food , portion is more than sufficient. She also makes sure everyday breakfast is different. Kids meal will also served differently. Rooms are cleaned with full set of toiletries.

酒店衞生真的不錯，洗澡拖鞋男女分開，並且消毒後裝袋子裏的。這次出門忘記帶燒水壺，大廳有燒水壺和保温瓶，茶葉，一次性紙杯，非常方便。老闆非常熱情，為我們介紹美食並且指路。店裡的狗狗乾淨可愛，看得出老闆是個非常在意衞生的人。親子出遊或者有潔癖的你，非常推薦。贊

房間處處智能化，每一個角落都非常乾淨，温馨提醒細節服務到位，老闆還熱情推薦攻略，兩位員工小姐姐也非常可愛親切～親子房真的非常不錯，樂高玩具小朋友玩的非常開心避開電子遊戲癮，周邊離景點和小吃街都非常便捷，唯一不便可能就是停車在地下需有一段樓梯，小姐姐很熱情幫忙提行李箱，可是我們泡完湯行李比較多，老闆都嚇一跳哈哈哈，我們泡完湯過來還沒來得及規整哈哈哈哈哈

選擇評分高的果然是正確的，土生土長的南京人開的民宿，距離老門東特附近，走2分鐘就到了，這裏鬧中取靜，出行方便。民宿每天早上都有安排簡單的早餐，入住水果也都是優質品種。老闆特別熱情好客，前台漂亮的小姑娘服務也特別耐心，老闆為我們介紹好吃的餐廳，雖沒能一一品嚐，去了竹裏館，品嚐了地道的鴨血粉絲湯，留點遺憾下次再來😁或許是主人的熱情好客，連主人家的柯基小麥也超級可愛友好且粘人，出遊在外，希望可以多多遇見這樣愛生活的人們，讓民宿迴歸真正的民宿，讓我們走近當地土著人家，聊聊城市的變遷，瞭解一座城市普通人的生活變化，是讓我們瞭解一座城市最好的方法，也是更有温度更有質量的體驗，感謝這位用心經營南京土著，儒雅的中年大哥😁希望下次來南京還可以住這裏😁
