Hotel in zona Jigu, Nanchang

Stayed here in end Oct. Ji Hotel entrance is just beside Mercure Hotel entrance, so don’t enter the wrong one. Comfortable bed with double pillows and the only hotel (out of 5 we stayed in this trip) that provided fridge and free mini bar in the room. Good breakfast spread and quality with local specialities like jar soup and noodles. However, the air conditioning in the room wasn’t working properly, so the room was warm and stuffy. When we called the reception about it, we were given a silly excuse and a standing fan which was dusty and not standing straight. Not only did they not bother to wipe the dust off the fan before letting us use it, the staff who brought the fan to our room was impolite and left the fan at the door expecting us to move the dusty fan into the room ourselves. This is not the service standard we expect from Mercure. They gave us 2 packs of local noodles as gifts to make up for the unpleasant experience when we complained about it during check out

The hotel service was par excellence! Our taxi driver brought us to the main hotel instead of its branch 7 km away. A senior staff member having found out our mistake voluntarily took us in her car to the hotel we booked! All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was very clean and the amenities were in good condition! It is only about 300m from Tengwang Pavilion (滕王阁) we wanted to visit. Will definitely book it again for my next trip.

Facilità: davvero un nuovo hotel pulito, mi sento profumo quando entri la mattina, e le strutture nella stanza sono molto nuove, il letto è super comodo Igiene: l'igiene è fatta bene, l'hotel è molto pulito, la stanza, in particolare il bagno, non ha un odore distintivo, e la sala speciale è troppo grande per il bagno, il cuore della casa di Hua è ancora possibile! Servizio: il più soddisfatto è il servizio. Abbiamo preso la ferrovia presto, quindi vogliamo stare presto! The hotel is in a great location, with the metro, train station within walking distance. The room is clean great for a short stay or a week or more. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly! Checking in was a breeze! This is my first review of the hotel even though I have stayed there for over 10 times. Ii definitely recommend you staying here if you are coming to Nanchang or even Jiangxi province.

Great location, high level hotel, but some parts of the interior are a bit old. Problem with the permanent change of water pressure, so that it was not possible to get a suitable water temperature in the shower (all the time changing between hot and cold). Not so easy to communicate in English (like in many Chinese hotels), but diligent and helpful staff. Not big choice of food in the restaurant, but there are many restaurants nearby. Wonderful view on the lake.

Location: The hotel’s location in Honggutan District made it convenient for accessing both the business district and local attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang’s Star of Ferris Wheel. Taxis and public transportation were easy to access from the hotel, making it convenient to explore the city. The Drawbacks: 1. Room Size: While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they weren’t particularly spacious, especially if you’re staying for a longer period or with family. It was fine for a solo traveler or a couple, but families might feel a bit cramped. 2. Limited Dining Options: While the breakfast was great, the hotel’s on-site dining options beyond breakfast were somewhat limited. There is a small restaurant, but for more varied meal options, you’ll need to explore nearby restaurants or order delivery. 3. Noise: Depending on your room’s location, you might hear some street noise, especially during busy times. It wasn’t overwhelming but could be noticeable for light sleepers. Who It’s Best For:
