Booked 3 club rooms for 3 separate nights during a multi-stop tour through Kenya. The Stanley and the 1902 lounge were one of the highlights of our trip and we would definitely stay here again and specifically book the club rooms. First of all, the staff were incredible - Emilie, Collins, Benson (1902 lounge butlers), Steve (concierge) and Susan (management) deserve special recognition. They all went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. The 1902 lounge is well worth the upgrade. Soft drinks and snacks during the day, and an incredible happy hour daily from 6-8 with hard drinks and hors d'oeuvres. And if your flight is later the day of checkout, you can use the lounge throughout the day. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. We tried all 3 restaurants during our stay - The Thorn Tree cafe provides an excellent breakfast and is good for lunch. Both the Thai Chi and Pool Deck restaurants were excellent dinner choices. If you are heading on Safari or to Mombasa you can leave the luggage you don't need with the concierge, taking only the things you need for that part of the trip. This makes traveling so much easier. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious and well-appointed. As we returned to the Stanley from one of the legs of our trip, we all remarked that it felt like we were ”coming home”. Would highly recommend.

The staff in this beautiful hotel is friendly, welcoming and helpful. The ambience is very tropical- relaxed and casual. The walls are adorned with African textiles, traditional implements, weapons etc. Rooms are luxurious and all the public areas are comfortable and tastefully presented. There is a large pool, excellent gym (I’m told), and the massages are well worth it. A jewel in a large busy city

This is a real treasure of a place! The atmosphere is old world charm, the food is fabulous at TATU. The bar is excellent with service and attentiveness to you needs. The gift shop is stellar for some nice jewelry. The facilities are clean as a whistle as they say...breakfast was outstanding with so many choices. The work out facilities are just super great, and the pool is heated. Ok, lastly the ambiance of colonial Africa just fills the air, from the art, to the breezes flowing freely through this wonderful hotel!

Great service from front desk. They were accommodating to early check-in and slightly late check-out depending on vacancies. Didn't check out the facilities. Breakfast wise was alright. not much varieties though. Anyway we are there to stay in the room. Room is perfectly sized and cozy for us to rest in. Highly recommend to all if you are looking for a hotel in CBD area.

Purtroppo gli effetti di Covid-19 hanno portato a chiudere il loro bar e ristorante in casa (B & R). Ora hanno affidato la colazione a due ristoranti esterni. Per il ristorante delle scale, il menu a la carta non è mai stato compilato: c'è sempre qualcosa che non è disponibile. Una seconda tazza di tè/caffè deve essere pagata separatamente. L'altra ristorante è chiusa nei domenica. Oggi non si può bere tardi la sera. L'assenza di un B & R interno ha reso il posto meno confortevole di quanto fosse stato. L'Oakwood è stato usato da anni, sempre un hotel a prezzi ragionevoli nel cuore della città di Nairobi. Abbiamo deciso di controllare il weekend e non è cambiato molto oltre a una nuova entrata che è completamente fuori carattere con il resto di questo piccolo hotel accogliente. Le griglie di acciaio e le tessere bianche offshore tolgono davvero il vecchio fascino della scuola che è sempre stato qualcosa di cui ci piaceva.Si sente come camminare in un'intervento dentale antiseptico e abbiamo immediatamente perso le vecchie pareti di legno che esulano il fascino e il calore. Il resto del legno di Oakwood è molto lo stesso. Le meravigliose camere e mobili sono ancora invariate. Purtroppo sembra che il proprietario abbia deciso di aumentare il costo di una birra fresca fredda a un KSH 400 estorsionato! Questo è stato oggetto di un ampio dibattito con il personale disappunto che ha dichiarato che i clienti stava saltando per un prezzo più regolare in impianti meno ferrosi, purtroppo abbiamo deciso di seguire il gregge e di muoversi! Vergogna vedere un vecchio stabilimento così venerabile cadere nella stessa trappola di tanti altri vecchi charmanti .....!

The Hilton Nairobi is ideally located right in the centre of the Central Business District, and though it may no longer be as glamourous as it probably once was, the friendly and helpful hotel staff are a great compliment to the hotel.
