Country Inn Tarika Resort Jim Corbett

Overall the property is old enough. The rooms are neat and clean. The food served is good. The staff is courteous and polite.No issues as such but the rooms feel specially old and age is evident on the walls. The property is maintained but demands renovation to keep up with competition. Country Inn is a reputed chain and must undergo renovation.

Total spoiler. The bathrooms were in a bad state, washbasin broken, shower not working, tap un functional, dirty pools with tiles broken and fungi all around. All in all had we not passed our time in the private garden I won’t have liked staying here.

Everything was too perfect , but Ms. Rita and Shiv kumar Chef was so exceptionally amazing. Kudos to them…. Staff was so helpful and approachable. Ambience was so mesmerising and buffet food is too much tasty. For sure will visit again here.

Worst Trip ever of my lifetime! We were travelling for the first time after marriage to Jim Corbett. I am writing this review while staying in this property and have booked for two nights but instead will check out tomorrow because of its unsanitary conditions. I regret choosing this hotel for my stay. From the moment we arrived, the service was appalling. Mahesh Angom from The reservations team was rude and insisted we pay mandatory gala dinner charges for December 31st, despite explaining that we would not be attending and planned to step outside for the evening. He even threatened to refuse us to check-in if we didn't comply with the charges, which was unprofessional and invasion to my rights, as we had already paid the room charges for two nights. Upon check-in, we requested to speak with the general manager to address our concerns, but our request was ignored. Instead, we were told that, as a gesture of goodwill, they had upgraded our room. However, the room condition was unacceptable—dirty, unsanitary, and far from what was shown in the photos on MakeMyTrip. The environment was so unpleasant that I felt uncomfortable throughout the night. I had requested the front desk person as well to change the room but they straight away denied saying there’s no room available which again , is not our problem. Perhaps they should have maintained their property better to avoid such circumstances. This hotel is seriously not as per Country Inn standards. This stay has been a huge mistake, and I strongly urge others to reconsider booking here. The photos posted online are misleading, and the actual experience does not reflect the quality they advertise. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel.

We stayed in Country inn Tarika from 20-22 sep for our Business cum leisure meet up. Had booked 25 rooms for our group. From moment we stepped into the Resort it we were overwhelmed by the quick and prompt Hospitality. Whatever we asked them to arrange it was done. I would like to congratulate Mr. Rameshwar, Yug and Prem for making our check in smooth and hassel free, providing maximum number of rooms on ground floor. I would personally like to Congratulate Mr. Vinod and his team for preparing tasty delicious cuisines for us. Special mention of Mr Anil ( Chef).. The arrangement of outside Barbeque and drinks by Mr Digamber ***** with music set the tempo of our meeting in high spirits which further enhanced on day 2 of our conference. I would recommend everybody to taste their hospitality whenever possible.

Excellent Stay with a comfortable and helpful staff. Hospitality was top notch. The manager as well as the staff was nice. Food quality was also great. Pool was nice and breakfast was also good. Surely worth staying and coming again to the same place.
