Destinn Ekaant Corbett Resort

Guys all 5/5 ratings are all fake. Shikha from Destin ekant will give you all false promises for a hefty price. Again sharing below review. And also dont give anything in advance to Shikha as she will not refund even a single penny if you dont like the so called resort which is actually not a resort but a shabby hotel. Also see the pattern here, after every bad review they add lots of fake good rating to retain it to 4.5. Check below review and dont go to this resort ever Hello I don’t know how the destinn ekaant team is managed to get 4.6 rating but I tell you this is not even worth 1 ratings.I am hundred percent sure the good rating below which are 5/5 are all from the fake IDs. Now, Let me tell you the issues 1. This is not at all a resort it’s 500 sq yard house kind of a place. Rooms are stinky. No maintenance 2. Pool is 20 by 10 size only like only 4 to 5 person and fit in 3. Approach to this place is very hard far away from Jim Corbett area where other resorts are located. 4. We booked it in 45 k for 2 night for which we have given 22 k in advance but after seeing there both the resorts we asked to refund but Shikha from the hotel booking denied to even refund 50 percent. We book another two days in another resort which is a 5 star property in Jim Corbett in the same cost. I mean there is a limit to loot people. Guys whoever is reading this post pls don’t go there in destinn ekaant even it is free as it will ruin your plan and stay Sticky no no.

I visited Destinn resort last week with my family and loved it. Location, View, food are just amazing. Rooms are very neat and clean. Staff is very polite and helpful even during late hours in night. Best thing i loved was Road Connectivity and Surrounding area of the forest

I arrived at this resort with 3 more friends of mine. We got two rooms to stay. Just after 30 minutes of our check - the electricity went away. This kept happening for 2 days of our stay at Destin Ekant. Additionally, the Air conditioner stopped cooling due to constant power cuts. Later we realized the AC was not cooling at all. We showed it to the manager and asked to fix the issue. He suggested that we shift the room to the room which was in an extremely secluded area. We saw the big spider crawling on the floor. However, we decided to spend that night in our rooms without AC, but everything went to our extreme toleration until around 3 am. The power got cut and till 4:30 am no one in the staff bothered to start the generator. We were sweaty and confused about where to find the staff since the intercoms were also dead. Concerning the food, although we include dinner and breakfast in our package - the option of the dishes was less in the buffet. The food on the menu card was highly overpriced and qty was also not satisfactory. The pool was also not cleaned regularly and was almost half empty. When we spoke to the manager about this the next day, the pool was properly filled with water. Addition to all the pain NO NETWORK & POOR WIFI !! Trust me, we had paid a good amount of per day room fare, and this kind of hospitality - pathetic!!! The poor Manager kept talking to Mr. Kireet over the call, but no one was efficient enough to provide a solution. My conclusion is that the property is small but beautiful. the management is very poor. Rooms are nice and spacious. Beautiful Garden with huge mango trees. But not a very nice view of the surroundings from the balcony. based on my and the group's experience we do not suggest anyone to visit the Destin Ekant - Jim Corbett, until they make some major improvements.
