The hotel is a bit old, the washroom is traditional and quite dark,and the bath tub is a bit stinky.
The room is equipped with 3 beds but one of it is sofa bed, folding one, so the quality is not good and O tell the staff to take it away at the end.
The service is good though, staff will come and clean up and bed and empty the garbage bin daily.
I drive this time, parking is 1200yen per night, which is reasonable.

Tutto era buono, ma il socket vicino al letto per caricare i telefoni erano poveri. Ho avuto un telefono, un iPad e un orologio di mele che dovevano caricare, ma solo riuscivo a caricare il mio telefono perché il caricamento era troppo lento. Controllare il tempo e controllare il tempo può essere migliorato. Se la custodia di casa fosse più efficiente o se non fosse sotto la staffa. Sono solo a favore dell'hotel. La posizione è grande e vicino a Aeon è un plus. Il mio secondo soggiorno qui.

Grande hotel. Prenotamo con la possibilità di colazione. Il miglior buffet per colazione intorno con diversi articoli americani e giapponesi. Avevamo una camera con 2 letti matrimoniali. Le letti erano molto più ampie di quelle statunitensi e potevano facilmente dormire 2 bambini piccoli. La camera disponeva anche di divano, tavolo, 2 sedie di tipo LR, catene per vestiti, caffè/tea, asciugacapelli, vestiti, shampoo, condizionatore e sapone. L'hotel era situato vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, così è stato facile andare in giro. Non potevamo sentire treni o traffico. Se si passa attraverso la stazione ferroviaria e si gira a sinistra, c'è un centro commerciale all'aperto con diversi ristoranti. Mangiavamo lì, mentre l'hotel era costoso per pranzo/pranzo.

This time I was allocated to the 7th floor. It was a bit disappointing comparing to my first stay 2 days ago. The hair dryer was a broken one. The air diffuser could not attach to it. The emergency torch could not stay in place firmly and eventually dropped off, very dangerous! The S-shaped hangers and the chair in the shower booth were missing.

Amazing hotel not too far from Nagoya Station for the airport Meitetsu Train, accessible to food, shops and convenience stores by foot for a short-walking distance only. 💯 recommend it. It also has a superb wedding venue with a nice traditional chapel/cathedral. Come visit Nagoya & stay at The Strings!

The restaurant on the lobby floor is also excellent (appreciate that they do have translations for their dinner dishes). Yet, guests may have to wait for a little while for breakfast.
The two downsides are that there are only two washing machines (1 eventually broke down on my first day) and there is no online tracking or update of the usage (so guests would have to guess and calculate when to use the service). And the breakfast selection is a bit dull since I guess they are all the same every day.

Gorgeous view of railway inside the most economic room type, even not including breakfast package, still admirable. Excellent floor layout design with rooms surrounding the central foyer.
Basement self-parking with unlimited in/ out flexibility deserves credit.
Hotel facilities have much room for improvement, as only ice-making machine on most guest floors. Introducing public bath, vending machine could bring more reasons to stay in this hotel.
After all, I’m pleased to have chosen this hotel for a 4-night stay, and will reconsider an encore in my next Nagoya visit.

Excellent location situated next to the Nagoya Station (JR) line and opposite to the Meitetsu Nagoya Station. Comodo perché vicino alla stazione (uscendo a sinistra) prendete come riferimento l'hotel Raffine , il Mercure é di fronte ma ha l'insegna solo in giapponese ! Camere abbastanza grandi. Attenzione dopo le 9.30 non vi danno più la colazione (neanche sulle cose pronte a buffet) anche se il termine é alle 10.00 e sono anche scortesi !!

You can easily get accessed to famous restaurants in nagoya station though.
It was impressive that there was a wide range of toothbrush and pillow to choose from in the lobby.
The mattress didnt feel good coz the middle was too soft and we kept sliding to the middle

UUtente ospiteHotel is right in front of Legoland. You can check in to the Hotel before entering the park. Highly recommend buying the tickets on the official website- international credit card accepted.
Legoland is my favorite theme park because there isn't a queue or a crowd. That means you can totally enjoy the park and literally go on your favorite rides many times!
The staff at the park is super friendly and they make the rides, arcade games and shopping memorable. Apple fries is a must have! Breaded apple slices with cinnamon dipped in whipped cream is such a treat on a winter day.
Although the parks opening hours are 10am to 5pm, it's more than enough time to enjoy the park and even sit down for a meal or snack.
Lego Hotel is amazing with big rooms and theme amenities. There is a children makers park near by with glass, pottery and even an animal zoo for children to enjoy. Of course, there are many eateries- Korean, Kyoto beef Katsu, Ramen, ********* Bubble tea and shops. There is a beautiful night fountain with lights, song and movement to enjoy.
Highly recommend making the trip to Nagoya Legoland and staying at Legoland Hotel.

UUtente ospiteCompetitively priced, good quality, and convenient location. This hotel is a couple of streets away from the main Nagoya station with access to JR, Meitetsu, subway, an Aonami lines, which should cover most of the major sights and coming from/going to the airport. It is also very close to the pick up point for many day tours. One minor issue is that if you approach from one side of the hotel, its name sign is obscured by a tree, which could make finding it difficult the first time you visit. There is actually another Via Inn a couple of streets away and if you pop in to ask them where this hotel is, they will help show you the way. Hotel room is about standard size for Japanese business hotels and clean. Air con takes a little while to start up but is certainly adequate and much appreciated during the hot summer. Staff are friendly and efficient when checking in and out. They are happy for you to leave your luggage there after checking out as long as you pick it up the same day. Tea bags and drip coffee are complimentary, with self-serve refills on the ground floor. Ice machine is on the second floor as are four washing machines, although these are very popular and usually fully utilised with a queue of people waiting too. Guest mix is mainly mainland Chinese and Hong Kongers with the occasional Japanese. There are many places to eat in the surrounding streets, including izakayas, Korean BBQ, Chinese, and many Indian/Nepali places. The restaurants/pubs can be quite lively at night with people spilling into the streets to eat/drink/chat with their friends. In addition to the big malls above the JR station, there is a Bic Camera and 100 yen store down the street from the hotel, many convenience stores, and a 24-hour supermarket and drugstore a short walk away.

Se metti il tubo di accensione, voglio restare in questo hotel di nuovo.

PPi Ka ChuWe stayed at this hotel while visiting Ghibli Park in early Dec, both hotel and the park were amazing. Hotel is located a little distance from Nagoya JR station, but only a short stall 5-10 mins taxi trip. Reception has warmly welcomed the guests on arrival, and provided very neat kid amenities pack (per photo) for our little girl. there are plenty of eateries nearby and during the lunch time, a few pop up shops on the street selling Bento’s. it is also very close to Nagoya science museum (which was worth visiting for full day and plenty of kid friendly activities ), but we only had 4 hours on the day we checked out. One downside here is they only have one escalator, and the reception is located on the 1st floor. On our way out, we ask the staff for help with arranging taxi and temporarily changing the direction of only escalator to move our luggages to ground, the staff was very helpful and assisted (waited) until our taxi departed, impressed with the service level of the staff who was on duty on 5th December afternoon. Strongly recommend this hotel for both holiday makers or business travellers.

KKelvin HThe location is very convenient, with walking distance to the major underground street. And the hotel is surrounded by tons of bars, clubs, convenience, stores, restaurants and donki which opens till mid nights or even 7-24. It’s best for supper.
The room is very clean and the attitude of the staff is so nice. The only thing is that they do not have air conditioner in the room during spring.(mid March) so the room maybe a bit sultry.
Also as you have to open the window to keep the air fresh, it would be a bit noisy.

Se preferisci un posto tranquillo o un hotel amico di famiglia/bambini, non scegliere qui.
La stanza che ho avuto un odore sgradevole, ho chiamato il personale e mi hanno fatto piacere cambiare la stanza immediatamente.
La stanza non era pulita, ma accettabile con il prezzo che ho pagato. La posizione era bella, a 5 minuti a piedi da Sunshine Sakae e è vicino alla stazione metropolitana.
Hanno fornito bevande gratuite alla sala da pranzo e hanno dato un bar a cena all'uscita.

มมนตรีGlad to stay here, staff was very helpful and friendly. Room size seems a bit small, but it's comfortable and my 28” luggage can open easily. Hotel location is in 10min. walk from Nagoya sta. and easier to find if you are out from meitetsu line side. Breakfast start from 06:30, with acceptable quality and quantity.
