Although the staff are remarkable and friendly, the hotel is very dated with few amenities. It seemed like we were in a converted storage area right next to a fantastic viewing area on a rooftop. The room was basic, with a bed on wooden floorboards in a separate room (no tv and very patchy wifi) a lounge area with a daybed and a raised area opposite the fully glazed entrance. If you forgot to close the bathroom door properly, (situated just off the lounge area and raised) those enjoying the views of the himalaya from the roof, might also be treated to a view of you on the throne through the fully glazed entrance, as the door would regularly fall open. Likewise, closing the door properly and pulling across the shower curtain. The moon might often be glimpsed. Generally comfortable, dated and might prove challenging for people with mobility issues, as the are stairs everywhere.... But you go there for a chance to see an amazing panorama, and a moon if you peep. Unfortunately not available to us because of cloud
