This was a shared home, owner lives on one side and three bedrooms and bath on the other side for the guests. Included a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, living room with large TV and the beds and one bath. We used one bedroom and a British couple with their two children in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. Great location, within walking distance to restaurants and the black beach. Gorgeous views. The host was very friendly and recommended dinner options for us. Breakfast was not included, but the host left waffle mix and some jams, crackers, and oatmeal in the kitchen for us. A no shoe facility, so you will leave them in the mud room when you enter. I would definitely stay again. Bed was comfortable and house was very clean. The Lava Show down the street was cool to see, so recommend if you have a chance to go.

We had booked for 2 nights but, as the weather was turning, the owner called to advise us to not travel and that they would not charge is for the first night. This was a great help and also helped out the couple staying who were unable to travel on as planned. When we arrived the welcome was warm and the property immaculate and well equipped. There was homemade jam and cheese to go with waffles and crackers for breakfast. We had a lovely chat with the owner who was keen for us to get the most from our visit and gave great dining recommendations. After lots of driving in some pretty grotty weather this was a haven and it was a shame we had only one night.

We stayed to nights here. The location is within 10 minutes walk to most restaurants. There is a fun hike if you walk up the street from the rental. Our rental had private parking and 2 bedrooms and a private bath. The rental had a small kitchen and table as well. The beds were fairly comfortable. The guests next to us could be heard until 11p at night. This may be an issue for some. The host is very welcoming and fast to answer emails. I would say the price was expensive for what you got, but that may be the average for the area.

Friendly host who made us pancake mix and home made jelly and spread. The room has a living room attached which has a full kitchen and a beautiful TV with Apple TV where you watch Netflix. We went to the nearby super market and cooked ourselves a nice meal.
