Hotel in zona Panormos Beach, Mykonos

Eleni’s village suites was on the last leg of our tour of the Islands in Greece. We arrived in the afternoon and took a transfer(36 euros for 3 people) from the port. One can easily take the local bus which would cost about 1,80 to 2,30 euros, but we didn’t know that then. We were welcomed at the village suites by Ewe and were shown to our accommodation. This was the only place where we stayed that had a stove, cookware, cutlery cups, coffee maker etc. This meant that we could actually prepare meals as eating out in restaurants in Greece can become very expensive as our rand(zar) was 1/20 against the euro. The accommodation was close to the local bus stop. Just down the road was a supermarket which was very inexpensive and we bought all the necessary stuff to have a decent meal which cost less than 15 euros and that was enough for 3 people. Where we paid for a steak 18 euro at the restaurant on the corner. Even though the suites r close enough to the port it is not close enough to walk. We also were served a complimentary buffet breakfast the 2 mornings that we were there. Lovely fruit, cereals, breads, cookies, coffee and juice. U could eat as much as u wanted. We took the bus down to the port and explored Mykonos, old city and little Venice. The area was beautiful. Lots of restaurants along the walkways and the beach. U could also swim . Eleni’s Village suites were very clean and comfortable. WiFi was good especially to connect with family at home. Unfortunately there were no pool at the place as it was quite warm. The surrounding area is quite dry and looks very rural.

Extremely wonderful hotel. Perfect experience. Great host, service, food, drinks, and room. Again, the food is very, very good! Everything is clean. Room was wonderful with the small pool on balcony. We got engaged at the hotel our second night in! The hotel staff helped so much to prepare us a special occasion. We can easily say this is the best hotel we have had the pleasure to stay in. Matthew is exceptionally friendly and has the skills of a high level waiter/bartender/all the above. Front desk always smiling and accommodating. Cleaning lady very friendly. 100% recommend for anyone.

Ottimo hotel e servizio fantastico.Tutte le osservazioni sono abbastanza accurate, una grande esperienza e il personale si scontra per conoscere il vostro nome e preferenze. È anche una passeggiata super corta per Mykonos Town e una corta gita per Nammos o Super Paradise o Scorpios. È davvero un piacere visitare!

Un posto paradiso . Devi venire a godere del tuo soggiorno in questo magnifico hotel . L’accoglienza è molto piacevole che è una bella gentilezza. Le camere sono perfette e colazione con una vista straordinaria. Grazie per tutto.

Premetto che è il decimo anno che con la famiglia soggiorno al Royal nella prima settimana di settembre. Proprio perché ci veniva offerto un soggiorno unico ci siamo sempre ritornati con immenso piacere. Ma da quest'anno qualcosa è cambiato. Certo, il contesto, grazie alle bellezze naturali del luogo, è meraviglioso. Gli ambienti dell' hotel rimangono molti particolari e di lusso ma manca una direzione, un' attenzione al cliente, una supervisione che fino a quest' anno era tenuta dall' egregio Mr Panos, responsabile alla reception e di fatto supervisore in assoluto, molto competente e professionale, nonché cortese ed affabile. Ora Mr Panos non lavora più lì e l'hotel ha intrapreso la discesa verso il basso. Veniamo agli aspetti positivi rimasti: ambienti, pulizia, ottima colazione. Aspetti negativi: - rumore in piena notte nei corridoi a causa della clientela molto cafona e volgare, perlopiù americana che rappresenta ora la tipologia principale di questo hotel; - rumore in piena notte nelle camere per operazioni di aspirazione e pulizia effettuate dal personale (nessuno controlla il personale); - mancanza di adeguate quantità di prodotti omaggio per il bagno in relazione al numero degli ospiti e della durata del soggiorno (fanno il controllo dei costi limitando gli shampoo?); - camere superior non all' altezza: cassaforte rotta, fili della luce scoperti (vedi foto); - in sala colazione uso di stoviglie sbeccate e tovaglioli macchiati (sempre controllo dei costi?); - da quest' anno trasferimento dall' aeroporto all' hotel e viceversa a pagamento 15€ a persona e viene chiamato ironicamente welcome service. Un cinque stelle? - in spiaggia personale disinteressato, non pulisce la sabbia né i lettini, c'è plastica ovunque, che finisce in acqua e nessuno di loro si cura di raccogliere. Che tristezza vedere questa noncuranza ! E questo deturpamento della sabbia e del mare! Lettini e ombrelloni vecchi, rotti, da sostituire; -alla reception nessuna attenzione al cliente, nessun saluto, nessun sorriso . Le chiamate dalla camera di notte , se avete bisogno, non vengono ricevute. I responsabili e gli addetti rimangono sempre con gli occhi fissi al PC anche quando ti parlano. Ma da dove sono stati selezionati? Non conoscono l' italiano poi. Che cinque stelle?!!! A fronte delle nostre rimostranze di essere stati più volte svegliati in piena notte per l' aspirapolvere e dello stato della camera cosiddetta superior, non si sono mai scusati. Il concetto di ”cliente” è sconosciuto. - Concludo in sintesi: questi signori non hanno la minima idea di come si gestisca un cinque stelle leading of the world.

Sono venuto qui per 5 anni. Ha una posizione perfetta, molto vicino alla spiaggia di Platys gialos. È un hotel moderno con belle camere. Il personale è sempre stato utile e amichevole. Ci hanno sempre aiutato con tutte le nostre esigenze. Le camere erano belle e confortevoli. Ci siamo davvero goditi il nostro soggiorno. Bello bar e piscina. Siamo felici di raccomandare questo hotel a chiunque stia considerando una visita a Mykonos.

Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per una settimana come conclusione del nostro viaggio di nozze. Lavorando che nel settore siamo rimasti a bocca aperta dalla professionalità e dalla gentilezza del personale. C’è un’attenzione al cliente che è qualcosa di unico. L’hotel è bellissimo sotto ogni punto di vista, ha una spiaggia privata dove si può usufruire del set di lettini e ombrellone e le due piscine sono meravigliose sia di giorno ma soprattutto la sera quando accendono tutte le lucine sul fondo. Abbiamo provato per una sera la cena e si mangia benissimo.. i cocktail del bar da provare assolutamente! C’è una sala solo per la colazione, una sala enorme con tutto a buffet, mai vista una colazione così completa. Ci siamo trovati più che bene, 5 stelle sono poche.

We stayed at the Amazon Mykonos Resort & Spa for 5 nights for the first part of our honeymoon. This was the best hotel we have ever stayed in, we were greeted with champagne and Greek sweets while we checked in and our bags were delivered to our suite. The hotel offers a free transfer too and from the airport or ferry port. We had the honeymoon suite with private pool and jacuzzi, the room was amazing. Huge bedroom and living area and plenty of outdoor space to either sit in the sun or the shade - the sunset from this room is the best on the island hands down. The breakfast is amazing literally every choice you could want with fresh eggs, crepes and waffles cooked to order offering both American, English and Greek options. There is an option to have breakfast in the room but this comes at an added cost of around €50. Chronis the hotel manager was always on hand to answer any questions and would organise taxis for us too and from our destination giving us recommendations where to eat or drink. All the staff in general are so helpful and friendly when delivering room service or in the restaurant, if they saw you walking they would always give you a lift on the hotel golf carts. Things to be noted - The hotel is around 15 minutes drive from Mykonos Town itself so a taxi or vehicle hire is required. The hotel pools are not heated so in May they were cold. Didn’t effect our stay at all because we had a jacuzzi hot tub. If you get the chance to stay at this hotel make sure you do, you won’t regret it. 10/10
