Semeli Coast Mykonos, Curio Collection by Hilton

We recently stayed at Semeli Coast Hotel and, while the property itself is beautiful and the staff are generally friendly, our experience unfortunately did not reflect the standards of a 5-star hotel. We had clearly communicated in advance that we were traveling with an elderly family member who has mobility issues. Despite this, we were initially assigned a room that required navigating many stairs. It took nearly two hours and a complaint before we were moved to a more suitable room, which was not a great start. Additionally, we had also informed the hotel ahead of time that we were traveling with a 2-year-old who needed a cot. When we arrived, there was no cot provided. After some back and forth, they brought a pack-and-play with no mattress — only bed sheets, which we found unsuitable for a toddler. Another issue was dietary communication. Despite informing the hotel about a dairy allergy in our group, room service meals repeatedly arrived with butter – even when we specifically asked for no dairy. Staff would sometimes suggest dishes without sauce to avoid dairy, yet fail to realize that butter is also dairy, and used it anyway. This shows a clear lack of communication and training. That said, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was decent, and the overall grounds of the hotel are truly stunning. It’s unfortunate that a series of avoidable service issues left us feeling like we were staying at a 4-star hotel rather than a 5-star one. We won’t be returning, but hope our feedback encourages improvements for future guests.

Hilton Semeli Coast exceeded every expectation. I hold only Gold status with Hilton, yet I was upgraded pre–check-in from a whirlpool suite to an incredible two-bedroom with a private jacuzzi and pool. We were traveling as a group, and the hotel ensured we had neighboring suites and villas. They even arranged a complimentary, seamless transfer from the airport. We arrived late with small children, and instead of sending us to the front desk, they brought us directly to our rooms and checked us in there—a thoughtful touch after a long day of travel. Everyone working at this property was outstanding, delivering warm, genuine service with a smile. As a longtime Marriott Titanium Elite member, I’ve had a string of underwhelming stays with Marriott recently which is why I decided to give this Hilton a try. This experience reminded me how luxury hospitality should be done—delicious food, unparalleled views, spacious and thoughtfully designed rooms, and service that goes above and beyond. This is the gold standard for a luxury resort.

This hotel is so amazing. If you’re worried about the overwhelming tourism of Mykonos, this is your spot. Great staff, nice breakfast, beautiful rooms. Incredible views. Small beach that is rocky but so private with comfortable sunbeds, beach bar service, and crystal clear gorgeous water. Surrounded by cliffs, couldn’t be more picturesque. Driving is tough - the road there is rocky and all the roads in Mykonos are quite narrow. But if you can handle that, this place is the absolute best. Thanks for a great stay!

Absolutely incredible experience! Most stunning location in Mykonos, and staff was super friendly. Highly recommend this hotel. Rooms are nice, big and new. Kostantinos the server was great! Will definitely come back here in the future.

My stay at Semeli Coast Mykonos was absolutely wonderful. All of the staff were so kind and accomodating. The suites are so luxurious and extremely spacious...I even had my own pool. The restaurant has a great menu and all of the food I had was delicious. I can't wait to go back!

The ultimate relaxation experience. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to serve us in whatever we needed. We were welcomed from the hotel to the room with a bottle of wine and snacks. we headed to the stately spa for a relaxing massage, sauna and cold treatment The beauty of this hotel is unique. Everything you need to recharge your batteries.
