Soggiornare allo Shangri La Al Husn Muscat è stato uno dei momenti salienti del nostro soggiorno in Medio Oriente. Abbiamo deciso di andare per il compleanno della mia ragazza e il team ha lavorato eccezionalmente bene con me per offrire un'esperienza indimenticabile. Arrivare allo Shangri La è stata un po' una sfida e i taxi non sono economici in Oman. Anche se non è stato impegnativo, vorrei che ci fosse un'opzione di ritiro/riconsegna per gli ospiti. La colazione inclusa era meravigliosa e ordinare dal menu assicurava che tutto ciò che hai ordinato rimanesse fresco. C'è stato un disguido con il nostro ordine a causa della barriera linguistica, ma il cibo era comunque fenomenale. La colazione in camera e il servizio in camera sono stati un punto culminante in quanto ti hanno permesso di sfruttare appieno la stanza e con i riscaldatori integrati nel tavolo da pranzo assicuravano che il cibo rimanesse caldo. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo del servizio in camera è stato deludente poiché un ordine di hamburger e patatine veniva fornito con una piccola quantità di patatine, tuttavia il problema è stato risolto con il nostro ordine successivo. Il tè pomeridiano era delizioso, in particolare il formaggio, l'anguria e le focaccine. Ogni tè pomeridiano era diverso e eccitava il palato. Anche le bevande dell'happy hour erano incluse e venivano sempre accompagnate da una tartina a sorpresa dal ristorante. In termini di soggiorno, è stato perfetto. L'interno e l'esterno dell'hotel sono bellissimi e il suono dell'oceano ti ha lasciato rilassato per il soggiorno. Vorrei sottolineare che c'era molta vita marina sulla spiaggia che ci ha impedito di nuotare in mare poiché avevamo sentito parlare molto della costa dell'Oman e non avevamo molta fiducia nella pattuglia della spiaggia e nei bagnini lì. Abbiamo notato che alcuni giocavano sui loro telefoni, ma erano sempre felici di aiutarci a scattare una foto per noi due. Suggerirei un approccio più diretto quando si tratta di cosa puoi aspettarti nel mare lì. Era disponibile anche una sala visitatori che ti permetteva di sfruttare tutte le opportunità delle strutture fino alla tua prossima avventura.

Questo è il terzo soggiorno in più di dieci anni, l'hotel è ben tenuto, a parte la ricarica con l'adattatore, che è un po' scomoda, tutto il resto è molto buono.

Il nostro viaggio in Oman non avrebbe potuto iniziare meglio nonostante la stanchezza per la notte in aereo nel vedere tanta bellezza l'entusiasmo è alle stelle! Accolti da personale gentilissimo e simpatico ci viene subito assegnata la camera di tipologia superiore sorpresa davvero graditissima. Tutto è perfetto gli arredi, gli spazi comuni, la pulizia, il cibo niente potrebbe essere migliorato. Durante il soggiorno ci siamo sentiti coccolati, immersi in un luogo di grande fascino, la splendida spiaggia privata con i gazebo è davvero il top. Ci siamo congedati davvero a malincuore ma con l'intenzione di tornare per più giorni Grazie Shangri-La Al Husn Resort!

Questa sera ho festeggiato il mio compleanno in questo bellissimo resort. Oltre alla struttura moderna e organizzata bisogna fare i complimenti allo staff che mi ha fatto trovare al mio arrivo un bellissimo regalo di benvenuto in camera.... ma la vera sorpresa è stato un biglietto di auguri con le loro dediche personali. Ho apprezzato moltissimo. Complimenti a questi ragazzi. L'hotel è bellissimo ma le persone fanno la vera differenza..... Siete la cosa più preziosa del resort. Saluti Galli Stefano

Hotel realmente meritevole delle cinque stelle assegnate. Perfetto sotto ogni aspetto: location sulla baia più bella della città di Muscat, architettura e arredi imponenti ed eleganti, spazi comuni enormi, camere grandissime ed elegantemente arredate, servizio di reception e in camera sempre attento e curato in ogni particolare, colazioni perfette ed estremamente varie sia nei buffet allestiti che nella scelta su carta, vari ristoranti con menù altrettanto raffinati e curati….insomma, proprio nessun particolare fuori posto…..un hotel che merita interamente il valore attribuitogli.

We’ve literally returned from a 7 night stay at the beautiful hotel a week ago and have already booked a return experience for November 2025! We told staff we would be back and the memories we’ve brought home with us and wonderful experience has made us leave a part of our hearts here at the Shangri-La Al Husn. The hotel is meticulously maintained, spotlessly clean and every member of staff you encounter go above and beyond to make your stay a fabulous experience! The service is excellent as is the quality of food in the Sultanna restaurant. We stayed on a B&B basis simply because I don’t generally consume 3 courses at dinner. Highly recommend the 32 hour cooked beef and the wonderful lamb shoulder which fell apart and like velvet to eat. Breakfast had a great selection and chef also came to ask if there was anything we wanted preparing to let him know! Wonderful. We used the chi spa at the neighbouring hotel purely because we wanted an Asian massage which the spa in our hotel didn’t offer and it was a great experience! We also visited the piano bar in that hotel which is open from midnight, tasteful interior and good selection of cocktails etc on offer. It was Ramadan during our stay and it didn’t affect us really although missed a little wine or beer at lunch time at the beach restaurant. Dress modestly and respectfully at this hotel and whilst out and about. You can wear a bikini at the beach or a swimsuit. Loved the idea of afternoon tea each day - we only sampled once and it was a first class experience only for me it was in the middle of the afternoon at 3.30 pm which if you’ve been in the beach or by the pool you needed to return to your room to shower and change to be respectful to others. Loved the pre dinner drinks and canapés, popular with all the guests, some music whilst enjoying or a band playing would be great only I believe this was not possible during Ramadan so looking forward to a different experience in November. Loved kayaking in the sea and also the cool box with water and juice and the tiny bottle of Evian spray to keep your face cool! The concierge assisted with booking a driver to take us to the mosque and we also enjoyed the boat trip to see dolphins, highly recommend - go for the early trip. Simply perfect, stunning location so pleased we are returning in a few months, cannot wait and am hopeful the hotel will grant our request for the same room please 1364.

If you're visiting Muscat and not staying at Shangri-La Al Husn, you're truly missing out. This resort is nothing short of exceptional — from the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. A special mention to the incredible team at *Mahhara Beach* – they were super accommodating, friendly, and genuinely helpful. We can’t thank them enough for their incredible hospitality. They truly made our beach days extra special. We were fortunate to stay in one of the suite rooms, and it was absolutely to die for. The views of the sunset from our room were simply breathtaking – something we'll never forget. And as if that wasn't magical enough, we were lucky to witness the *release of turtle hatchlings* during our stay – a once-in-a-lifetime experience that added a beautiful touch to our trip.

Wonderful hotel, staff are amazing and so kind and attentive. Wherever you eat, the quality really is outstanding, so much choice and variety. Pool or beach, lifeguards always on hand, as are the support staff, always there with a smile and chat but never intrusive.
