Bari Kothi in Azimganj, Murshidabad is a beautifully restored heritage mansion that offers an incredible glimpse into Bengal's opulent past. The historical charm and architectural grandeur make it a must-visit for anyone interested in culture and history.

Food was outstanding. Hospitality was beyond expectation. Everyone was willing to help always. Facilities at the property was very nice, albeit difficult for the elderly. If there was anything that did not go well, it was the weather. A must visit for sure.

Food could be better taste wise as most of the food tasted very different hence if more known Bengali cuisine could be added in the menu then it would be great for most of us, rest is pretty nice. Captain of Bari Kothi, I think named Abhiroop was a really good manager for all of us.

Excellent hospitality and welcoming. Personal attention by Abhirup and team members. Specifically Sandhya Chatterjee took great care in making us feel comfortable. Food was awesome and the property is wonderful and well maintained. Would highly recommend.

It's an excellent property I can't express in words how much I liked each n every corner of bari kothi but it's true that it was possible for the wonderful people who served us here.. I must name a few like chaitali,Sandhya tripti mita lal rocky and many others I am really feeling sad to leave the place now I will miss bari kothi and the family here Leaving bari kothi with tears in eyes Shall hope to return soon I shall wait for the owner to assign me for any reason to serve their purpose as I am a true lover of travel and our heritage. LOVE

It was a memorable stay at Bari Kothi. Got a chance to immerse in the era of Nawabs. Abhirup & his team took all the efforts to make us feel like one. Hospitality at Bari kothi is out of the world, never experienced any thing like this before. Fabulous vegitarian food which was prepared & served with utmost love. We would love to visit again with family or friends.

We had a wonderful time in Bari Kothi. We were overwhelmed of it's beauty. The staffs were very nice. Their hospitality is memorable. Food was soo good. Boat riding with different snacks was also very enjoyable. As a whole it was an unforgettable moment.

Me and my student are travel alcoholic. I always search for locations and properties that give some experience of different order. I chose Bari Kothi and am fully satisfied with their service, hospitality, ambience, decor, grandeur, food and cultural performance. It is a home with all homely amenities and people (ladies draped in red bordered white garad sarees) from the family but at the same time 7 star facilities. If one has money and want to have a life time experience of luxury do visit Bari Kothi.

What sets apart Bari Kothi from all other luxury heritage stays is their impeccable service. The staff, mostly comprising of locals, make you feel at home from the moment you step in. The property is beautiful, and the attention to detail in every corner is commendable. We were there for the lunch experience, complete with a very detailed and personally guided property tour. The lunch was remarkable, and the experience unforgettable.
