Torassieppi Eco Reindeer Resort

We had the best time when we stayed at Toresseppi. Staff we so friendly and very helpful, the food was amazing, even our fussy kids had something to eat every day without moaning! All the activities were fab and all a good length of time. The only one that was shortened was our husky sledding and that was more so because the temperature had dropped down to -32c and they explained it could be dangerous for the children to be out too long in that temperature. The cabins were warm and comfortable- we had a 6 person cabin with a sauna which was a lovely addition. We also stayed one night in an Aurora hut which was a good experience. For a Lapland Santa trip it was perfect, not in your face, too commercial or flooded with tourists. It was very authentic and jusy magical.

We drove by the place and paid 10 euros to get a bucket of food to feed the reindeer. We thought that this would be processed pellets as those have sadly become the staple food of most reindeers in winter, but no, we got a whole bucket of actual moss ! We then had to drive 2 more minutes to the actual enclosure, and then just fed the animals through the fence. Our 3 years old daughter had great fun, and so did we. It is probably the best way to spend 10 euros I can think of. Give it a try too if you are nearby.

I am here now. Ended up travelling alone due to planned companion illness. It is the most idyllic place, magical, clean, friendly and extremely accommodating. The staff are extremely helpful but mull along in the background making it feel very homely. The food is excellent and the team have gone out of their way to provide for a difficult diet and it’s way beyond my expectations. I have fallen in love with reindeer- the most lovely animals.

Upon arrival in February 2018, we received cold weather clothing (reindeer mittens, boots and "snow suits") that keeps out the cold. We had reindeer sleigh rides over a frozen lake and through the nighttime woods. Magical! Terrific food and friendly, hospitable staff.

Dépaysement avec la sortie en traîneau de Rennes ou traineaux de chiens. Déjeuner dans l'igloo de glace. Arrêt pour un déjeuner en Cabane lors d'une sortie en motoneige. De nombreuses activités de cette annexe des hôtels Harriniva. Un dépaysement Lapon.

Wir waren eine Woche Ende Jänner 22 in Torassieppi, Unterkunft in Cottage sehr wohnlich, Essen sehr gut, Bedienung freundlich, alle gebuchten Unternehmungen sehr erlebnisreich, die Guides sehr aufmerksam (wir sind ein Ehepaar hoch in den Siebziger) einziges Manko: Die Rezeption! Das Personal musste bedienen und gleichzeitig die Rezeption betreuen. Caos war vorprogrammiert. Zudem waren mindestens von den ca. 70 Gästen die Hälfte deutschsprachig. Deutsch war aber ein absolutes "no go" Schade , sehr schade!!
