Amazing location in the middle of a forested gorge, allowing for incredible views! Our room was large yet very cozy at the same time, with very comfortable beds! Extremely welcoming and friendly staff! Breakfast offered many tasty and healthy produce, all locally sourced! Restaurant food was also delicious and the wine list was extensive and of high quality. Definitely recommend, especially for families and romantic getaways (although best come during the spring or summer to avoid being frozen in!)

The location is remote, so it is for people who want to settle and recharge. The bungalows are nicely decorated and convenient. All of them with fireplace (some of them with two fireplaces) roomy bathrooms (with nice shop and lotion) ,comfy beds. The breakfast is rich and tasty. The restaurant is very nice as well as the bar. All personnel are very kind and helpful. A lot of nice mountain walks around.

My ultimate choice for relaxed holidays. I visit Montanema every year the past 4 years. It’s my favourite. Really good prices amazing people and excellent environment. We have stayed in several nests room but my favourite is TERPSI. we definitely come back this summer.

We went to Montanema Hand made village last weekend. We are a family with three kids. We had a two bedroom house with a kitchenette and 2 bathrooms. As we arrived in the house we were amazed by the view, the size of the bedrooms and also one of them was a master bedroom with its own fireplace and bathroom. The food was of a very high quality, prepared with organic products and as a mother and a person that cooks a lot I could taste and enjoy the freshness of their milk,honey, hand made pasta, local meat, delicious eggs, marmalade for breakfast, home made cake, freshly brewed coffee etc. Really organic products. They also make their own soap bars and liquid soap/shampoo and when I used them-they smelled lime honey! The location is right near the forest, the view is breath-taking  and there are various activities for the children and adults such as cookies baking for the little once and guided forest walking tours for big and small enthusiast. The indoor pool and spa is not allowed for children but the in the outdoor pool in summer everyone is welcome.In general the children are so bizy with the activities that had been organized by the hotel and also my children was playing with the dogs , on the swings, they've visited the little farm on side that the day was gone before we knew it. One thing potential visitors should keep in mind is the 4km sort of off road before you arrive at the settlement but for us it was a part of the adventure, nothing strenuous, we were perfectly fine with our Nissan X-trail and the children got even mire expected. I've learned about this hotel from a mother's page on Fb and I highly recommend it to everyone who wish to explore Greece!

Montanema offers its visitor the perfect escape for true relaxation. A unique pristine location, in a fir forest, with wonderful views. The interiors of the houses offer privacy and warmth. The food is locally produced, cooked with mastery. After dinner, you can enjoy a late cup or mountain tea by the big fireplace. In the morning, the easy hike by the river reconnects you with unspoilt nature. The spa and massage were the highlight of the relaxation, one of the best I have ever had. The staff's friendly service made the stay just perfect. We stayed over a weekend and felt as refreshed as if we had been away for a week.

Our second visit to Montanema Handamade Village (after 2 months) was even better than the first one! Everything in this, actually "handmade", mountain resort is excellent!! In this context, I would like to specifically mention not only the unique "style" and decoration of the hotel as well as the accommodation villas, the warmness and competency of the staff, the high quality of the food and the wonderful facilities of the spa, but also the impecable/dramatic nature that surrounds the hotel and provides its guests with the opportunity to "feel" the nature and enjoy its unparallel beauty (with the guidance of -one of a kind- Mr Ntinos)! With or without kids... this hotel is a must! An unforgettable experience that deserves everyone's attention and, certainly, a lot of visits!!

An amazing experience! We came back this year with a group of 22 people (family and friends)! Hotel's amenities were luxurious and the staff extremely friendly, considering that we had 8 children in our group! The food was great also.. Thank you so much for everything! 💓

Beautiful hotel ...kind and polite staff. I put 4 because 5 gor me must be just fabulous. It Snow during our stay and the place was just magical.... The view from every sight is breathtaking. Some things could be arranged better.

The most amazing weekend, fantastic food, excellent accomodation extremely friendly staff and the most mind blowing massage that I have ever had. The warm waters of the pool was delightful. The tour guide very informative with a incitful walk through the forest. Thank you so much I will definitely be back.

Amazing location, very welcoming and helpful personnel, good quality of the meals and very selective decorated of every facility. We enjoyed the mushroom tour,except the indoor swimming pool that was a little chill . We definitely are going back.

An amazing and unique experience … Friendly and cozy accommodation ! Lavish nature , while it transforms the feeling of a luxury hotel … our room was very clean and we had a great fire place . we have many reason to revisit . We totally recommend it …

A real home from home ! Wonderful welcoming atmosphere with extremely kind and friendly staff -always helpful -always smiling -which is not always easy! We went on the mushroom walk with super knowledgable Dinos which was a joy.Food delicious ,bed comfortable ,surroundings breathtaking -definitely well worth the effort in getting here! It would be a super place to come as a group/ family special occasion .We will definitely return Thanks to Montenema team

What an experience! A stunning retreat built with so much love and attention to detail, in a beautiful and picturesque natural setting. The staff make you feel at home, the kids are begging to go back, and all it takes is two days to feel completely reset. Wherever you look it’s beautiful… Highly recommended! And also the massage is a must try!
