Residence Inn Lancaster

We had to change from our first room when we first got there the room smelled like garbage because the garbage disposal had a foul odor the next room we were given was much better, Beds we’re very uncomfortable, The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful, The complementary breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices.

I stay in Lancaster on business about eight times a year and have tried just about every "residence suite" facility in the area. This one ranks as one of the very best. Attention to detail in the design of the rooms is evident everywhere. There are storage bins and shelves for your stuff in every room. There are outlets and USB ports everywhere. They all work. The kitchen is fully equipped with GE appliances. They all work. Basic kitchen utensils are well-stocked and clean. Detergent is provided for the dishwasher (ONLY place I've stayed that provides this common-sense necessity). The shower is enormous, and also has many shelves and ledges for your personal stuff. DItto for the bathroom vanity. The only complaint I have is that the plumbing could be more diligently maintained. The bathroom vanity sink was slow to drain and needed a cleaning. The drain trap in the kitchen beneath the disposal was not properly attached, and if I had not seen this and had it fixed, it could have caused an enormous mess for someone. The guest laundry is cashless, a great convenience. The little store by the front desk actually has stuff you'd want to eat and drink. The staff is friendly and welcoming. All kinds of shopping is within easy walking distance as long as you don't mind walking up and down a hill. Overall, about as close to perfect as I've seen in Lancaster County so far. Highly recommended.

My family stayed here for a few days and enjoyed this place. It’s a terrific place to stay as everything from the breakfast, rooms and staff were amazing.

The staff was great! The rooms were perfect for our long weekend. Loved the amenities in the kitchen!

This is a five story hotel. Only one of the two elevators worked during the first day of our stay. On the second day, the second elevator stopped functioning. I overheard the counter person telling a guest that the second elevator malfunction was a surprise. Why? If one stops, shouldn't you need it fixed in case the second has a problem.

easy access to room....close to back door for pet entry with little activity distraction. friendly staff. food good. coffee in dining room great...coffee in room not as good, but ok in a pinch.

Lovely accommodations. Staff was wonderful. Great location. Unfortunately housekeeping must have had a problem with the holiday scheduling. We were supposed to have service every other day but only had it at the beginning and end of our seven day stay. I had to empty the trash and get clean towels from the front desk. However, overall, it was a wonderful experience and we will be back.

Property was very well kept. Rooms were spacious and clean and staff was professional and friendly. Would absolutely recommend and stay again.
