Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. And I’ve traveled a lot. I’ve stayed in hotels in Tennessee, New York, Orlando, Miami, Ohio, Michigan, Orlando, Toronto, as well as in South Korea, Malaysia, other Asian countries, and Costa Rica in Latin America. The attention given by the staff here is incredible. Honestly, I’ve never been to a place where... First, it’s a family-run hotel, right? And that adds so much to the experience. Second, one of the standout things is the personalization. The rooms are amazing, with every amenity that makes you feel truly pampered and well taken care of. I can’t think of another hotel that has made me feel this level of care. The owner, his son, the whole family—they are always checking in to make sure you feel good. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend any other hotel over this one. There are big chains, luxury hotels and all that, but the attention you’ll find here, it’s unmatched. I am so grateful to the owner, Dilip Patel, for all the attention he gave me, and to his son as well. I’m just one person, but still, they made me feel so special. Congratulations to them for the incredible human touch they bring. If you compare this to other big chains, you’ll never find this level of treatment. These are people who genuinely make you feel good, right? Staying here, supporting them, you know they’re real, incredible human beings. Truly, I can’t recommend them enough. I always like to come back to this hotel whenever I stay in Bay Area, and I had a wondeful time this time again. I usually stay here alone (mostly for business trips), but this time we visited with my family. My kids also completely loved the cosy rooms, the water server, the lovely breakfast including a choice of Asian food such as miso soup, and the location. The staff were always full of hospitality and friendly, even when the kids sometimes got too excited and became a bit noisy in the breakfast area (where we tried to keep them calm down as much as possible too). Also, something I particularly like about this hotel, that is not often mentioned in reviews (I think), is the speed of the WiFi in the rooms, and comfy chairs and desks. I really appreciate this as I often stay here for business purposes. I hope to come back again!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Hotel Strata and its exceptional owner, Dilip Patek, along with his hospitable staff. This hotel has truly become our second home whenever we visit the Mountain View area. We always look forward to our stays here, knowing that we will be met with incredible accommodations and unparalleled service. The spacious rooms and suites are thoughtfully designed, with fireplaces in every room, custom / locally-made furniture, all leading to an inviting area you look forward to visiting. The TVs embedded in the bathroom mirrors and the heated toilets and bathroom floors are just a few examples of how Hotel Strata goes above and beyond to ensure their guests' comfort. Every little detail is meticulously thought out, making each stay an absolute pleasure. The outdoor fire pits, ping pong tables, business centers, and fitness area make it easy to stay productive and relaxed simultaneously. One of the standout features is their complimentary breakfast, which demonstrates their commitment to putting guests first. They offer a variety of options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices. The homemade poha and upma are absolutely delicious and a highlight of our mornings. The hotel's prime location is another major plus. It's within walking distance of downtown Mountain View, where you can explore a variety of restaurants and the vibrant nightlife of Castro Street. Additionally, it's perfectly situated for visitors from Silicon Valley and Stanford, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. We have stayed at many hotels over the years, but Hotel Strata stands out for its dedication to guest satisfaction. Dilip Patek and his team truly make you feel like family, and their attention to detail is unmatched. Came here for a weekend with family and I love the friendly, attentive staff. Great morning breakfast buffet. Clean rooms. Amazing shower. Comfy complimentary slippers. Complimentary snacks all day. In room expresso and tea. Love this hotel!

Dilip and the Hotel Strata staff are outstanding. They took care of our large group visiting Google, and shuttled us to and from the Sunnyvale offices each day. The rooms are outfitted with everything one could possibly need for a business trip or visit to the Bay Area. They even threw a birthday party for a guest in our group! I could not recommend this boutique hotel enough.

Our managers are so thoughtful and personable. They gave me a stuffed animal! Quiet, spacious and clean rooms. Each room has its own bidet and bathtub! 24/7 tea in the lobby! Great breakfast in the morning is included in the price! If you need a ride somewhere, the managers will arrange it. The hotel also has its own informal bus service! When I wanted to go to SF, one of the managers gave me his card and said I could call if something happened. They gave me advice on which neighborhoods to avoid. I really encourage you to stay here!

Hotel Strata is one of the best hotels our family has ever stayed in. It is very clean. The fixtures are modern and our King Suite was beautifully designed. This is a family owned hotel and the owner has set a wonderful company culture. The workers are friendly and very responsive to your needs. They go above and beyond the service you expect from typical corporate chain hotels. Upon check in we were given a gift bag with free high quality water bottles and comfortable slippers to use in our room. We will definitely stay at Hotel Strata the next time we’re in the area. The owner is very interested in hearing and incorporating feedback from the guests. The one thing I think can make the experience better is to have more breakfast options for people that have vegan diets. Things like Oatmeal, toast bagels, jam, and nut butters would be nice options.

Strata is the only place I stay whenever I visit Mountain View / Bay Area. I have stayed here 7 times in last 2 years. 1. Customer service is out of the world - from office pickup-drops to laundry, all small details are thought through. 2. Relationships is key - owners Dilip uncle, aunty, Kirit build genuine relationships and ensure your stay is comfortable and you feel at home. 3. Room facilities, size is top class with very unique features 4. Breakfast has one Indian item. Round the clock you have noodles, bars for emergencies. 5. I highly recommend everyone to experience the stay once and I guarantee you will never go any other place.

This is a home away from home kind of place. I have stayed here several times in the last 2-3 years , and each stay has been remarkable. What sets this place apart is the level of personalised service, extremely well appointed rooms and very practically designed spaces , including an excellent gym at the property & great Breakfast . Mr Dilip Patel and his entire family and crew set a very high bar in terms of service & personal attention. I wish I could rate higher !
