Hotel a Mount Gambier, Australia

Perfettamente bene per un soggiorno di 1 notte. Il personale era amichevole e utile, la stanza era molto elementare, ma per il prezzo, perfettamente accettabile. Sono felice di non aver fatto la prenotazione attraverso un sito di prenotazione come quando siamo arrivati a vedere un segno di vacanza ci hanno dato un affare più economico per prenotare direttamente con loro. Name è un po 'deludente come pensavamo saremmo vicini al lago blu, ma non è lontano da guidare e vedere.

Siamo venuti come due gruppi di famiglia in 2 camere di famiglia. Prenotamo sulla base del fatto che i siti web consigliano di avere una piscina e servizi BBQ. Purtroppo, all'arrivo abbiamo scoperto che non ci sono servizi BBQ. La piscina era di buona dimensione e era chiusa sotto copertura ma non riscaldata. Il ristorante sul posto sembrava bello e per la maggior parte era ok per colazione (non posso commentare altri pasti perché non l'abbiamo usato) per quanto paghi per i pancake e ciò che ottenete non avrei consigliato. Penso che fosse $20 e che è venuto con due piccoli pancake e qualche pezzo di barbabietole. Abbiamo soggiornato per 6 notti e solo uno di questi giorni erano entrambe le camere completamente servite, tutti i letti fatti, i bagni puliti, le vasche vuote, i caffè lavati e gli asciugamani freschi forniti. La maggior parte dei giorni ci sono stati concessi solo asciugamani freschi e il bin è stato vuoto. La stanza stessa era abbastanza grande e i letti erano confortevoli. Un bonus era un lavandino ospite che era libero di usare con un lavastoviglie e un asciugacapelli.

We recently stayed at the Presidential Motel and will never stay there again or recommend anyone stay there again. We checked in on Thursday, 24th February 2022 to a lady who was very rude. She advised me as I was booking in that they would be charging me a $200.00 pre-authorisation damages fee that would cover any damages to the room. I asked her why this was the case and she advised that it was standard through booking.com and booking.com charged this on all booking.com bookings. I advised her that I used booking.com on all my bookings and have never been charged a damages fee. She was quite rude and ended up charging me $150.00 after admitting that it was the hotels preference to charge customers a damages fee not booking.com. I want to the room with friends to put my luggage away. 2 cleaners were cleaning the room beside my room. They asked me if I was booking into the room that they were cleaning and advised them that I was booking into Room 48. 1 of the cleaners advised that she would do a check of the room to see if it was ready to be booked. She unlocked the room and went inside to do a check. She advised me that the fridge had to be stocked. I asked her if I could take some blankets as it was cold and she said yes. She showed me the cupboards where the blankets were and I removed 2 blankets from the cupboard that was encased in white bags. These bags were carried out to the boot of my car. The door closed behind me and I thought I had left the swipe card in the room. I asked the cleaner could she unlock the room for me, which she did. The cleaner then went back to the room next door to finish her cleaning. (Approval of using the blankets were witnessed by 4 people that were with me). On Friday, 25th February 2022 I received a missed call from 08 8724 9966 at 12:24 pm. I returned this call and was greeted by a man advising that he was the manager of the Presidential Motel and had been advised by his cleaner that the blankets had not been returned to the room. I advised him that the blankets were still in the car as I grabbed them because my kids were cold. He asked where I was and I told him that I was at the speedway. He spat the dummy stating that they could not be at the speedway and had to be returned to the motel so they wouldn’t get dirty. I told him that they wouldn’t get dirty because we were parked in the pits and the blankets were kept in the car for the kids to use. He said that they would get grease etc on them because we were at the speedway. I again advised him that this wouldn’t be the case because they were in the car. Our kids were racing go karts, which doesn’t have grease etc like the cars would. I told him that I would return the blankets to the room and told him I had to go. I then hung up the phone. On Friday, 25th February 2022 when we returned to the room it was late and I forgot to remove the blankets from the boot (that had still not been used and were still in the white bags). We we

Check-in era facile e una volta che ci siamo sistemati, era un bel passo indietro alla ricezione e al piano bar per godersi l'atmosfera sopra un Il cocktail prima di andare al ristorante per cena. Ho avuto la torta speciale dopo aver confermato che era glutine libero (sono coeliac e ho bisogno di evitare il glutine a tutti i costi). Il personale era molto utile e chiaramente comprensivo delle mie esigenze e mi piaceva uno dei migliori biscotti che ho mangiato negli anni; mi scioglieva in bocca. Ho anche avuto un deserto (grano naturale) e ho davvero goduto il vino (un Pino Noir locale), non dovevo preoccuparmi di guidare in sicurezza. La mattina seguente abbiamo fatto colazione nella ”Sala dei motori” e la mia richiesta di Gluten Free è stata accuratamente esaminata, e non dubito che lo faremo di nuovo in futuro.

Siamo fermati a Mount Gambier, da Adelaide a Melbourne, e siamo stati allo Studio Spa Suite a The Comodore. La posizione era grande, e si può facilmente camminare verso attrazioni vicine come il giardino della caverna. Molte opzioni alimentari vicine. Il jacuzzi nella stanza era spazioso e rendeva eccezionalmente rilassante la nostra breve fermata.Vorrei visitare di nuovo il Monte Gambier e il Comodore.

We spent two nights at the Motel and enjoyed a very clean and spacious room , and also hardly any noise from the road traffic. We arrived on one of the hottet days in Feb about 39 degrees , our room was airconditioned and working before we enterred, thats good service from the staff and manager. cannot fault the location and price and would definately stay there again

L’ingresso e l’uscita di questo posto erano senza ispirazione. Tuttavia, la camera della Regina Superiore era magnifica! Era in ottima condizione, pulita e ben attrezzata. Ci erano sedie da soggiorno e un'area con sedie da bar per cena. Ci erano tasche per due valigie. La connessione Wifi gratuita era buona. Il riciclaggio di carta e plastica è stato incoraggiato. C'era un BBQ coperto e un'area di mangiare all'aperto. Il parcheggio era facile da accedere. Anche se si trovava su una strada occupata, non abbiamo sentito alcun rumore di traffico. Una camera superiore, certo!
