Hotel Le Samoyede

Brilliant hotel, by far the best ski hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff were excellent, the owners were lovely and helpful and the hotel had a great atmosphere. Food was excellent and I could not recommend the hotel enough, it was fantastic. I will be back.

Great hotel and staff . We stayed here for a week and would not hesitate to stop again . Very comfortable and clean room , we made use of the air con for a few days of our stay , the breakfast is fresh and plentiful. we also got a parking spot in the hotel parking .The spa has a hot tub and sauna, and can be booked for exclusive use for 30 mins a time . A couple of suggestions to improve , more than one coffee machine at breakfast as sometimes can get a bit busy and maybe some sort of milk in the bedroom as only had the choice of black tea and coffee , but these are only minor and did not detract from a fab stay .

Excellent location in the centre of Morzine on the market square. 2 minutes walk to the Pleney or a bus stop right outside the hotel to Les Prodains and access to Avoriaz is no hassle on the free bus (line A). TOP TIP by the time the bus gets to this stop it can be quite full, so walk up the street towards the Pleney and just on the left is the first stop for this bus and you will always get a seat here! Staff at the hotel cannot do enough for you and are extremely friendly. The food at the hotel is of the highest quality and plentiful- every night a feast is served between 7.15-8.30pm. You chose what time within this range to dine. Facilities- spa area has a hot tub, sauna and steam and you must ask at reception to use it. Room facilities- they provide v good Nuxe shampoo, conditioner, body wash and moisturiser. Each room has a robe and slippers and a hair dryer in the bathroom (of the type you squeeze the handle to make it work)- it was decent with several heat level settings. If I was going to gripe about anything it would be that the room was warm and the air con didn’t seem to kick in - but to be fair on the hotel we didn’t ask them to help us with this we just left our balcony door open a little at night. There are plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobe and shelf space along with a safe. The boot room has boot warmers and you are provided with a lockable cupboard for your equipment. This is accessed down stairs. There is a really nice bar and outdoor terrace area that gets the evening sun. Would highly recommend staying here on half board basis as you get the freedom to wander about morzine prior to dinner and you don’t feel obliged to hang around at the hotel like you often do in fully catered chalets.
