La Source des Sens - Hôtel SPA Restaurant

My husband and I spent the weekend here for my birthday in March. We had high expectations after reading the other reviews but were let down by the spa experience, which was a big reason why we decided to visit. The hotel rooms provide nice accommodation and amenities. The hotel staff were not exactly warm and friendly but they were cordial, helpful and polite. The 6-course tasting menu in the on-site restaurant was wonderful - very inventive and excellent value for money. However, the spa really lets this place down. The spa was way too busy. The heater to the outdoor pool was not working so the pool was cold and uninviting, the relaxation room had beds that were too close together that privacy or indeed relaxation was not possible as you were essentially laying next to the couple next to you. And the indoor pool was both busy and noisy - reminding us more of a public pool than a spa pool. The problem is that this hotel does not prioritize their hotel guests. They invite the general public to enjoy the spa as well. This is absolutely fine but they should at least give their hotel guests the chance to book treatments or book the famed "LA PARENTHESE" in advance, first. We booked our hotel room and were never encouraged to book treatments or the 7 senses spa experience in advance if we wanted to avoid disappointment. When we arrived, they told us that everything had been booked for up to two months in advance! It was so disappointing. I wrote to the hotel directly to share my experience but they never wrote back. I don't tend to write negative reviews online but had to share this feedback for my fellow spa-lovers out there. Sadly, in our opinion, it does not warrant its current rating and we won't be going back or recommending this hotel to others. If you are looking for a fantastic spa experience in this area, go to Le Parc Hotel and Yonaguni Spa in Obernai. It's amazing! The spa is out of this world and the hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. For a nearby foodie experience, go to Thierry Schwartz in Obernai. Their cooking is inventive and the presentation is beautiful.

1er séjour dans cet hôtel et une très belle expérience. Chambre spacieuse avec literie de qualité, wc séparés, douche à l'italienne avec de très bons produits, une grande baie vitrée donnant sur la nature, un très beau spa avec saunas, hammams, grotte à sel, pédiluves, douche sensorielle et 2 piscines (couverte et découverte). Le dîner est remarquable et les mets recherchés et raffinés, le petit déjeuner est copieux avec des ingrédients locaux. Un personnel agréble et aux petits soins. Nous recommandons !

Leider hatten wir zwei Standardzimmer gebucht, ein großer Fehler! Sie befinden sich über dem Restaurant an der Strasse. Die Zimmer sind klein, das Bad ca. 3 qm groß, die Duschtür nur nach innen zu öffnen mit einem Eingang von 25 cm. Es kann sich nur eine Person darin aufhalten. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit die Handtücher und Bademäntel vom Spa aufzuhängen zum trocknen. Wir hatten noch das Glück, dass unsere Zimmer zur Seite lagen, die anderen sind zur Strasse. Sowohl am Nachmittag, als auch spät in der Nacht hört man jeden Schritt, oder jemanden der Saxophon übt, von den darüber liegenden Zimmern. Also weder Ruhe im Zimmer noch im Spa, da dort alles voll war! Das Spa ist sehr schön, allerdings brechend voll, da auch externe Gäste Zugang haben, sodaß keine wirkliche Spa Athmosphäre aufkommt und keine Liegen frei waren. Großer Nachteil hier vom Standartzimmer ist, daß man muß über den Hof gehen muß um dorthin zu kommen. Das heißt mit Mantel usw…..! Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Hotel und Restaurant sind sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet und das Frühstück/Brunch war sehr gut. Das Silvesterarrangement würden wir nicht mehr buchen, viel zu teuer!

On vient de rentrer de notre court séjour dans ce hôtel fortement recommandé par des amis. Je dois malheureusement dire que nous avons été très déçus de la qualité de notre chambre “standard “ proposée au prix modeste de 455€ la nuit en formule demi-pension…l'installation de douche trop vieille et eau chaude seulement par moments. Une seule bouteille d’eau dans la chambre et pas de mini bar . Pas de climatisation et porte en bois qu’on arrive à voir presque à travers..Qualité plus tôt digne d’un hôtel 2 étoiles. (J’ai eu des meilleures conditions dans un Ibis ) . Le personnel et très professionnel et gentil le service au restaurant très agréable et le repas était excellent. L’espace SPA est génial mais quand il y a beaucoup des gens cela fait un peu de confusion. La qualité n’est pas tout à fait en rapport avec le prix.

Petit séjour au sein de cet établissement d’Alsace du nord. Le Spa est génial et nous y avons passé plusieurs heures forts agréables . La chambre est confortable et bien équipée . Le petit déjeuner très complet et avec des produits locaux ce qui est très agréable. Le rapport qualité prix est bon et nous avons passé un bon moment hors du stress du quotidien . À faire à nouveau dès que possible .

L’accueil à la réception fut souriant et sympathique personnels serviables La jeune fille nous a accompagné à notre chambre en donnant la fonctionnalité de l’hôtel. Chambre Nature 37 agréable et épuré et au calme une baie vitrée donnant sur la nature,balcon ~~ Wifi ,coffre fort ,nécessaire thé café offert Literie confortable 😍 douche 🚿 italienne Produits de toilette solide , peignoirs ,mules ~~ Wc 🚽 séparé ~~~~ Excellent petit déjeuner essentiellement constitué de produits locaux :Fromages, Pains ,Viennoiseries Jus de Fruit, yaourt aux lait de bufflone …tout pour nous faire plaisir 😍 ~~~~~ SPA Complet : douche sensorielle, Grotte à sel, 2 Hammames ,1 piscine couverte 1 piscine extérieure, Luminotherapie ,saunas et d’autres activités … ~~~ Espace privatif ~~ Beau jardin ~~ Parking 🅿️
