This motel is a hidden gem. The cost is reasonable and the place was CLEAN and tastefully decorated. Just awesome what one industrious Woman can accomplish apparently on her own when running the front desk AND cleaning the rooms with no assistance. There was one problem with a noisy neighbor, but he/they/whatever managed to put a sock in it around midnight, so I did manage some sleep.

Great little motel. Owners are very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again! Pricing is fair and the property is very clean. A throwback to an earlier era for sure.

Very, very clean and the owner is a lovely, gracious woman. The hotel is three blocks to town, perfect for walking to the street market on Saturday. Parking outside the room door is handy. Fixtures in the bathroom are a bit low for taller folks (5’8” and 6’1”).

Very charming family owned and operated hotel. Great location that is on Main Street in Morro Bay. The staff was able to accommodate our special requests during our stay that helped reduce our stress level as we were in town for our daughters wedding.

The owners of the Sundown Inn in Morro Bay are sweet and attentive. The property is clean and our stay there was comfortable and enjoyable.

Easy and accessible
Not the best location in Morro bay, but easy to get to and from, nice service, with a good recommendation for coin laundry as it was not on site, could use a cup of coffee more in the room as there was no breakfast on site.
Wi fi not super speed but worked.

Excellent stay!!
Charming property; clean room; hot shower; comfortable bed and quiet evenings. Owners were always nice and personable. We booked even more nights than originally planned! Loved the area with lots to do and see.

The room is compact, but everything works. Updated bathroom. Street noise during the day not much overnight. Clean room with nice towels. Serviceable internet.
