Kimony resort Hotel

Avoid this place! When we arrived they didn't have any electricity, no hot water, No AC (and it's very hot!) And no wifi and even cellular internet in the area. Bathrooms stink and the staff is super slow. We turned around and found another place in Morondava - the owner still charged us full amount for the stay.

Avoid at All Costs: Disastrous Stay at Kimony Resort This recent stay at Kimony Resort in Morondava was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The feeling throughout my stay was akin to being on a ship without a captain. While the employees I encountered were likely trainees, there seemed to be a complete lack of any managerial oversight or guidance. This resulted in a truly catastrophic experience. Unqualified Staff: While I appreciate the chance for trainees to gain experience, the complete absence of any seasoned staff members to support them was a major issue. This led to constant confusion and a feeling that basic requests couldn't be handled effectively. Management MIA: Throughout my stay, I never encountered any management figure available to address concerns or ensure smooth operations. This hands-off approach left a clear impression that the hotel was simply running on autopilot, with predictable consequences. The Final Result: The lack of proper training and supervision resulted in a disastrous stay. Recommendation: Unless significant changes are made to address the lack of qualified staff and implement proper management oversight, I strongly advise potential guests to avoid Kimony Resort. There are far better options available that can guarantee a more enjoyable and frustration-free stay.

Food is extremely good, both malagasy traditional food and other european, asian style. The resort is located 15mn walk from the best beach of Morondava. 45mn from the avenue of yhe baobabs. Little bit outside the busy town. Playground for kids. Basket ball court. Lovely swimming pool. Nice areas to walk around. Ròom service is perfecr. Workers are kind and curteous. We were four of us, we took the quadruple bungalow. Bathroom is large and warm water was nice. Bed and linens are clean. We had a wonderful vacation!

Un havre de paix, le lieu la nuit est vraiment magique avec ces éclairages, dans une végétation luxuriante. Les bungalow sont propres et spacieux avec tous le nécessaire à l’intérieur pour ne manquer de rien, l’équipe a été top de notre arrivée à notre départ, des lémure se balade à vos côtés en total liberté Merci!

Super week-end à Kimony, personnel au top, ambiance incroyable, chambres très confort . Les lémuriens qui se baladent partout c’est incroyable la piscine est immense, il y a plein d’activités à faire sur place Je recommande, un séjour incroyable

Rien à dire sur le site, magnifique, bien entretenu. Une quarantaine de petits lémuriens se laisse volontiers approcher et photographier. MAIS... - beaucoup de coupures d'électricité et d'eau rendent le séjour inconfortable - plage éloignée et très difficile d'accès avec deux ponts/passerelles absolument pas entretenus (peronnes à la mobilité difficile, s'abstenir) - la couleur de l'eau de la piscine du resort est peu engageante - service gentil mais incompétent. Ne soyez surtout pas pressés pour vos repas, y compris pour le petit déjeuner - approvisionnements aléatoires. Beaucoup de produits annoncés sont indisponibles Bref, un beau site prometteur mais qui est loin de répondre à nos attentes en raison d'un manque de management éclairé et efficace.

a fuir en temps qu'hôtel et piscine où d'ailleurs de l'herbe pousse au fond de l'eau c'est de l'arnaque, même quand vous mangez sur place on vous fait payer la piscine et le personne est d'un accueil moyen, pas de choix à la carte, la seule chose positive est le parc aux lémuriens avec des guides très gentils, heureusement que les lémuriens sont là pour relever le niveau - à fuire !

Hotel lejos de todo. Falta muchisimo mantenimiento. El primer bungalow que nos dieron no funcionaba el aire acondicionado y a las 22h bos quedamos sin luz (ni generador ni energia solar). En el segundo bungalow la ducha no desaguaba. Las toallas de la piscina viejisimas. Las cochonetas muy manchadas. La comida justa… en fin… si lo puedo evitar no volvere
