Telunas Private Island

This place is so beautiful! Very remote and relaxing! Bungalow on the water was so pretty and very comfortable for our family of 4. The staff here is incredible. One of the best experiences we have ever had with service. They ALL go above and beyond! Special shout outs to Ella, Mahena, Bob, Heri, Suraeni, Dwi and Cici. This place is run so amazingly well! The restaurant is really good and the will try and accommodate you as much as possible! Definitely sad to leave and definitely recommend! Thank you all for such a great stay!

Open all the windows and doors on your overwater villa and let the breeze waft through. This was a unique holiday experience with a combination of laid back simplicity and high end luxury. The food was good. The staff were excellent and accommodating to everyone's needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

An idyllic island escape an easy boat ride from Singapore (2 x 1 hr each, international and then domestic transfer). The staff were beautiful, very welcoming and always ensuring our comfort and safety. We stayed on the Telunas Private Island in a ridge villa. This was well worth the extra price and the steep walk from reception. The path itself is a well graded concrete ramp with a midpoint rest stop up the hill and requires a reasonable level of fitness. The staff are always available to lend assistance when needed. The villa was simple but luxuriously appointed, arranged in 3 zones: an outdoor dip pool with deck chairs and ocean views; an outdoor covered lounge area with dining table and water cooler / boiler. The bedroom section had a king bed with mosquito netting and sliding doors that opened up to the treetops and filtered ocean views. Behind the bedroom there us a covered outdoor bathroom with enclosed water closet, twin showers and vanities. All areas were well ventilated with ceiling fans and the bedroom had the added benefit of an air conditioner, which is only available in the ridge villas, but not needed most of the time due to the ample ocean breeze high on the island. The available activities and water sports were included with our package and were plentiful; the day spa is situated in the most beautiful setting over the water and the massages were excellent. The food and drinks offered a great selection and additional items could be purchased if needed. The ridge villa also offers breakfast to be delivered, but lunch and dinner requires guests to descend/ascend the pathway to the main reception and dining areas. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer and we hope to return again one day.

Excellent staff who treat you like royalty and make you feel like family! Wonderful place with nicely curated meals and thoughtful touches everywhere. And the sunrises and sunsets!!! Really enjoyed our time there. Telunas Private Island hits the sweet spot between nature and comfort. Easy to travel from Singapore.

The most amazing 4 days! Totally relaxing and fantastic little island. Wonderful staff, food and accommodation. Simply the best short holiday we have ever had, everything was perfect. A short 2 hours and 2 boat rides from Singapore. You must visit! Totally recommend this paradise!

Amazing place! The staff are wonderful, literally all of them! Special thanks to Dika, Dwi and Dela for looking after us and my 2 year old daughter. She had the best time! And thank you for such a lovely private birthday dinner on the beach. Such special memories. We stayed in the ridge villas, which were wonderful! In the middle of the jungle. Like a 5 star tree house with our own pool. Next time we’ll try the ocean-villas for a different experience. Lots to do every day, wish we could have stayed longer. There’s sufficient wifi in reception to stay connected. Just none in the room.
