Mayfair on Sea, Morjim Beach, Goa

At first glance this is a terrific property with great beach. Beyond that the service and attitude is awful. Service in beach restaurant was very slow. It took almost 30 minutes to bring ice cream. We stayed on a Saturday night and returning to our room from dinner nearby it was 10:30pm and the music from the bar was so loud our patio windows were vibrating and we couldn’t sleep. We called the front desk and was told the music would stop at 11:30pm. At 11:30pm we called again and was told it would stop at midnight. At midnight we were told 12:30am. At 12:30am we were told 5 more minutes then 10 more minutes. It finally was lowered at 12:45am. If you want a restful night or have kids do not stay here on a Friday or Saturday night!! Then in the morning at buffet breakfast they have the nerve to charge 3$ for coffee- it’s not included. This could be the first breakfast buffet in our many years of global travel and Indian travel to charge extra for coffee. However what was most galling was when speaking to the front desk at checkout on Sunday to review the noise and our calls the night before, they would not apologize and in fact boasted proudly that they have dance music on weekends. They simply did not get customer service and are not ready for prime time!

Every thing was great … the rooms are huge, super clean, over looking the pool. Bathroom was enormous and super clean. Check in was great - staff were superb, housekeeping - awesome. The location - well you can’t get better - it’s bang on Morjim Beach - just a fantastic location. The pool is a tad small - but then the beach/ ocean is right there. They say they have a gym — well they have a bench and a few dumbbells in a little room with no ventilation. Only draw back - Farzi Cafe - the music there - Oh GOD - horrid !!! Loud …. Ruined the peace and tranquility of the place…. If you’re looking for peace and quiet - this ain’t the place … Loads of eatery’s nearby - so I didn’t bother eating at the hotel - the music really put me off … the staff were great at the cafe —- just the Vibe - I felt like I was at a bar in Panvel rather than on a beach in Goa … if you wanna enjoy the sunset with a coffee / cocktail - not the place !! The evenings are loud !! You need a car if you’re a family - transport in Goa —- all you’ve read about it being bad - it’s worse !!! On the whole - I’d give the hotel a 100 on 5, I’d give the location - 200 on 5 , the vibe at Farzi - I’d give (-)82 on 5

I had a wonderful experience with the housekeeping service at Mayfair. The cleanliness was impeccable, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail. A special mention to Shubham, who was extremely professional—quietly focused on his work and ensuring everything was spotless. The room was left sparkling clean, making my stay even more comfortable. Excellent service and highly recommended!

I would say one of the best places to be in Morjim north goa right on the beach . Fantastic front office staff really really kind and helpful specially Vailanka and manager shankar big big thanks to both of them fabulous hospitality and welcoming . Made me and my friend from Ireland stay a very memorable one . Very tidy place and beach access is great . Lovely sunset view P.s you can skip the farzi restaurant in resort not great food atall and kind of expensive and loud music doesn’t help if you want to have a good peaceful dinner .

This resort has a superb location with direct beach access. Sitting adjacent to the beautiful Morjim beach, this resort has a small swimming pool & a restaurant taken over by Farzi cafe. The rooms are clean, comfortable & well maintained. There is a certain "sewage" type smell prevailing in the pool side area, which I reported to reception. Our toilet also had a similar smell, though that was rectified. There are numerous activities within a walking distance, such as enjoying a walk on the prestine Beach, swimming in the ocean. There is also great food on the beach, with some famous shacks nearby. In the evening water activities like jet scooter / banana boat etc is enjoyable though vpricey. If that smell can be removed, this is a good option to use as a base to enjoy one of goa's relatively cleaner beaches.

Below average food, not worth the money . Great housekeeping by Shenaz and Shivam. Very good attention to detail and the room was well done. Bathroom also was cleaned well. Food isn’t worth the money at all and cocktails were basic. Maybe because it hasn’t opened properly
